I lost My Thribble in Nephele!

    It was a strange day,


    One of those days when things just seem to happen and to explain it all...well where to start?


    You see, I got up grabed my dougNuts and Sirusbucks coffee before heading off on my patrol. Now I know I had my thribble with me at this point. I never leave home without it!


    Patroling was rather normal. The normal perps doing the normal thing. I did have a chance encounter with some fellows calling themselves DP. Seems they are the merc type, I made a note in my journal to keep an eye on them. Mercs always mean problems. I checked my thribble and it was fine.


    I had a light lunch, winked at some ladies in a cool cafe on Planet New Berlin...even got a number. Guess they liked my uniform.


    I headed of to investigate recent reports of "rats" in Nephele. Sure enough they are there. Thribble in hand I investigated. Curious to see what the situation is I sat back and observed. There was a SMG guy, going buy the callsign of Simba......a rough char and well known to the law. Then a few TRF showed up said they had laid claims to the system. I suspect a base in the system with TRF at the head of it


    I filed my report and headed of to X-304 for another coffee or even a few more phone numbers. It was when I sat down that I realised my thribble is missing. I even searched my ship but to no avail!


    I am sure it is in Nephele and will go back to look for it!

    You should know better then to transport those vermin. Next thing we will hear about is that they will have multiplied and eaten all the Tritical reserves of the Nephele system. If a famine happen in that system it will be on your head.

    (btw. there is a very cool DS9 episode when the crew traveled back in time and played a role in one original enterprise episode -> the one with the tribbles + met the old crew)

    Thank you, OP, for enlightening us on the tribble/thribble-thingy.
    To Ozy i can say only one thing: Look at the counter in my sig. It tells you exactly how much time you got left to look for yer vermin. If the counter is not there anymore, you're too late.


    btw, those thribbles look like the make a good snack, once they're roasted on an open fire :D

    Damn should've watched Star Trek DS9 and TOS. And I'm sure to stay out of Nephele for the next eternety or so. I don't wanna become a brog.
    Ozy I'd suggest you leave it in Nephele, who know they might actually take care of TRF for us :D

    but lucy is right.... they are good for a bbq
    they dont move much so you can easily catch them... you can put them straight on the fire without the need to kill them as they dont really move

    What is a thribble?


    I hear this question often. I can tell you it is not a vermin. I may also reveal that "Kryten" has a Thribble.


    Importantly thou, us cops have found them very useful although I believe recently I am the only one to have one....now it is lost!


    My thrible was a gift from a close friend on Planet Malta. You may have heard of her, its the story to do with the onion and the power generator.


    I shall go looking for it soon as my life is meaningless without my thribble.

    Yup, that's exactly what it looked like, that thing i roasted and ate in Nephele. Too bad the nice lilac doesn't stay on the barby.
