yes i said that not all was mentals fault since he has no real access to the server and the site (crazy has it) and torch had the control over the irc
i cant and wont blame him for not being able to do changes on the tlr site
but the problem is going deeper... the entire tlr staff resigned and has heavy problems with him.... most ppl are angry at him
most ppl want him to hand over the TLR administration to some1 who actually can do it
he refuses to listen
he does not communicate with crazy
he breaks fundamental rules of fairness
and he does not seem to be able to get the situation under control

i dont think that mental is a bad guy at all... but if he doesnt change the way he runs TLR then soon nobody will be left considering the fact how many valueable member already left and how many are so angry meanwhile

maybe mental will set up a new site for TLR... but the problems remain
no... more problems will appear
azza wont get stopped by a ban... he is clever enough to be able to re-register at any point of time (in the same way he avoided the bans yesterday)
tlr wont have the members that are needed to make any progress since most already left
(maybe mental wants to answer all the modding and player questions)
and trust is another big topic... and it doesnt look like that many tlr members have trust in the current administration

and finally last night a new community alliance has been created
TLR has been banned from this alliance already

my statement on TLR that mental either will move the site again or crazy will stop hosting it has been confirmed yesterday
crazy gave mental some time before TLR gets removed from the current server

additionally i got the info that a bunch of ex-tlr staff members are trying to get hands on the original TLR database without mentals knowledge or permission in order to extract tutorials and other important info
(from the legal point of view a very doubtful action since almost everything on that database belongs to TLR and is therefor copyrighted by "lancersreactor.com" and the original authors)

well.. i have tried to run a forum like this made by 'woltLab' did have almost the same style, nothing to pay for, and easy to install.
but if thats the way to found the things in a new way.. my sympathy. it will die earlier again, than its coming back alive.

never played on TLR, and i will never do.
the only one ive ever played was Crossfire. and as long this server is running, im not going to change that

Its official i got banned from TLR.
Last time i spoke with mental he told me that he did lie to me and insulted me and now I got banned for making abusive posts (2 times because the first got deleted and then i got a pm with a warning).

this was the post i wanted to answer:

Well.. looks like to me, at this point OP, you can wash your hands of TLR and keep a good conscience.

You did what you could to try to help them.. offered advice and resources.. a f**king server even.. and the end result of all your efforts? Banned!

Your conscience should be clear that you did everything you could.. if Mental is determined to go his own way, then there is nothing to be done about it.

From what I've read previously on the TLR forum, the answer to that particular question is a resounding 'NO'..

hmm they're back w/ phpbb3 and all is gone - again (really haven't they heard about export-import feature?).. the board is full w/ angry threads/posts and mental has used almost all phpbb limits he could use -- 255 char limit in sigs, no bbcode in sigs, no images in sigs, no formatting in sigs etc etc == crap & BS. lots of BS. and ppl are really angry there.
