If you want to start modding, the first thing you need to figure out is what do you want to mod? e.g. what do you expect to get?
-
Im combining mods adding ships factions and systems. I have PDF files of ships i want to add but dont no wat to do with.
-
dunno what you want to do with pdf files
FL doesnt even know what a pdf is -
I supose he means about PDF 3d files, but I doubt he can export them.
-
I do not know anything about modding. Where is a good place for me to go and learn. I do understand the internal workings of networks very well. I have NO experience in programming. Will that be a problem?
-
that doesn't matter all you need to know&understand is the way FL works :]
-
Wat u guys recomend to do with combining mods or at least certain parts. The PDF files came fromhttp://planetside.firenebula.com/
-
1. get a permission first
-
Well then i guess i should ask u for permission because im combining crossfire, discovery, Free Worlds. If the the PDF files are a waist is there some one who will make ships for me.fachaos@hotmail.com
-
i dont really like that idea
CF was created the way it is and it should stay that way -
why dont you create your own mod instead of using bits of everyone elses? a mod cannot be good if theres nothing original in it
-
Well I like how CF has NPC difficult and licens spot discovery for there tags freeworlds for there power generators and some ships from all three. The map I will mod from original make new factions new ships new systems. OP can u make ships for me or at least link to the program u use to do it.
-
i cant make ships for you or anything else since the SWAT projects already take all my time
the tool u should use is milkshape 3d
-
K did u check the site and were do i put the milkshape 3D importer and exporter at
in freelancer files -
