A scientific-research vessel has been left stranded following a Thargoid attack.

The Gnosis, flagship of the Canonn Interstellar Research Group, recently made a hyperspace jump towards the Cone Sector FN-J B9-0 system. A short time later, the following message was received from Captain Mathius Leander of the Gnosis command crew:

"We were a short way into our journey when the Gnosis was hyperdicted by a group of Thargoid vessels. The wrench back into real space caused severe internal damage to multiple systems, including the frame shift drive."

"There's no doubt that we would have been destroyed if not for some of the Commanders travelling with us. They lured the Thargoids away while ejecting meta-alloys from their holds. The aliens were more interested in scooping up the meta-alloys than attacking us. The Commanders later reported that the Thargoid vessels were the recently identified Hydra

When Star Trek Online enters the Age of Discovery, we will be introducing a whole new method of interacting with the PvE group content available to players. Same Great Content, Even Better Name! Alongside the new functionality we will discuss in this dev blog, we have decided to retire the rather bland moniker of “queue” to describe our PvE group content. Instead, we are going to begin calling them by the term “Task Force Operations” (or Task Force Ops, or TFOs). This update to the terminology is meant to relay context for how this content exists within the world of Star Trek Online, making it more obvious that the Captains you are playing are participating in actual in-world activities – skirmishes, strike teams, defensive maneuvers, simulations, and more. We also hope that this rebranding may generate a greater sense of excitement and engagement than what was evoked by the old

    Deathsnake

has expanded on the last few recent updates to the

    Last Line of Defense

project with a new video. This one features three of his prime capships in formation with the cruiser launching a mixed squadron of fighters. It can be kind of hard to distinguish the Venture in the foreground against the Exeter behind it, so we’d recommend you blow the video up large when you take a look. It makes it easier to see the cool fighters launch too!

It is a lot of work to launch several fighters, but it could be possible to launch 16 fighters from the 2 tubes. Imagine 3 Tolmacs launching fighters - 48 fighters = 48 Scripted Events. :D

I'm not limited to Rapiers. Tarawa's loadout is a mix of Ferrets, Rapier and Sabre possible. WC1 Loadout - Hornet, Scimitar, Rapier. The big playes - Raptor and Broadsword not possible. F-44 Rapier A dont' work - wings too big. :/ So here's a WC1 Group: Exeter, Venture and a

This Week at Bungie - 9/06/2018

    Sep 6, 2018 - dmg04

This week at Bungie, the hunt is on.

Players from around the world have said their final goodbyes to Cayde-6 and are hunting for Uldren Sov and his Barons. They’re finding collectibles in the farthest corners of the Reef, and some Guardians have already become notorious in a new season of Crucible.

This launch has been a rollercoaster of emotions, and we’re thankful to share it with this community. Everyone at Bungie, High Moon Studios, and Vicarious Visions has been watching as you invade the lawless frontier. We thank you for playing, and for being heroes in the worlds we’ve built together.

New experiences and secrets have yet to be discovered, and some are still on

We've seen Cobra's Explora and Seether's Dual Shadow… today, we conclude the trilogy with Hawk's knife. Lieutenant Colonel Jacob "Hawk" Manley seems to have picked up a new habit between Wing Commander IV and Wing Commander Prophecy. Like Cobra in Wing Commander III, he repeatedly brandishes a large survival knife in various cutscenes, alternatively sharpening it or using it to threaten Maniac. After his death, Spyder bequeaths the blade to the player. Wing Commander Prophecy's script expressly introduces the tool as a hunting knife: "FEATURE big hunting knife as Hawk enters and walks towards table" Later stage directions repeatedly ask Hawk to sharpen or otherwise focus on the knife.

Hawk is carrying a United Cutlery Bushmaster Survival Knife, the same general type of knife as Cobra in Wing Commander III (and from the same company as Seether's Double Shadow!) The Bushmaster Survival Knife is a 10"

Editorial Staff, Jayce’s Interstellar In a statement issued by the Allied Cooperative Starship Development Board, both Starfleet and the Klingon Defense Force have announced they are adding new classes of starships to their orders of battle. These two ships are the first fruit of an unusual endeavor. The Allied Cooperative Starship Development Board was created during the Iconian War as one of several desperate initiatives to gain any technological advantage or insight regarding the Iconian Herald fleet. After the resolution of the war, some suggested that these programs should be dismantled, but both Klingon and Starfleet planners saw wisdom in continuing them, along with a variety of other joint training and scientific exercises. The ACSDB began by taking an inventory of existing starship designs that had shown promise but never advanced beyond early prototypes for various reasons. For
