So...it isn't often we jaded MUP-pers get really excited over something, but this is one of those times. The dynamic graphical duo of Pedro and PopsiclePete have been hard at work performing dark magics and alchemy on the Open/GL patch and have given us a gift long sought after: Emit maps!Up to this point we've had to be creative in how we do things like glowing windows and engines in the MUP. …A radical group called Nova Imperium is gaining influence throughout the Empire.
Imperial Herald journalist Cassia Carvalho highlighted the situation:
"Nova Imperium claims that to survive the Thargoid conflict, the Empire must sever contact with all other systems and concentrate on protecting itself. In recent months, the organisation has become a genuine political force."
"The group's leader is known only as the Imperator. Dressed in an Imperial Navy uniform, he is a charismatic presence who speaks of 'a return to the honour of the old days' and 'the glory of Achenar'."
"Many traditionalist citizens, unhappy with recent cross-superpower cooperation, have embraced the Imperator's rhetoric. On several worlds, Nova Imperium's followers hold rallies with a distinctly martial feel."
"So far there has been little response from Imperial authorities, but it is clear that Nova Imperium will soon

…As many of you will be aware, hardware vulnerabilities have been discovered in many brands and types of CPUs that were manufactured in the last 20 years, affecting computers across the globe.
Here at CCP, we are in the process of patching and performance testing our infrastructure with the aim of making the impact on game performance and player experience as minimal as possible, so that you guys can continue to enjoy blowing up each other’s internet spaceships.
Security patches for macOS, Window 7/8/10 and Linux are all in the process being rolled out from their operating system vendors (from Microsoft, Apple, and the Linux community) to address the issue. Both latest macOS and Windows 10 have already received updates that resolve the issue, and Windows 7 and 8 will receive updates tomorrow (2018/01/08). For many of our pilots, your systems will have either already received an update, if you’re running

…The focus of BioWare may currently be on Anthem’s upcoming RPG prospects, but it wasn’t long ago when all eyes were on the re-emergence of the Mass Effect franchise. Following an epic trilogy travelling the stars, fighting the Reapers, and going on the prowl for alien booty, Mass Effect Andromeda looked to begin anew in an unexplored galaxy with the hope to capture the series’ past success.
However, response toward the release was not what the studio expected, with widespread criticism mounting in the wake of its less-than-stellar launch. This momentum-halting fumble combined with low game sales would eventually result in all post-launch plans going out the airlock, as Javik would say. Shaky foresight seemingly led to the downfall of Andromeda, and BioWare now reveals their plans for DLC didn’t have the most stable foundations ether.
In an interview with US Gamer, producer Mike Gamble spoke regarding

This ship spotlight with focus on one of two hulls from the Servant Sisters of EVE that are featured in this series – this time it’s the Stratios class cruiser.
A formidable drone platform with an armoured hull to match, the Stratios is perfectly suited to exploring and surviving the perils of deep space, and shines when flown in situations where exploring an unknown or hostile area of space is a key part of deployment.
While Alpha pilots will not benefit from the Covert Ops bonuses of the Stratios, this well-built cruiser still provides ample firepower, drone versatility and capability for non-covert exploration and astrometry that can be utilized by those flying with Alpha clones.

Class: Cruiser

Android Artshas been bitten by the Wing Commander bug lately and the result has been a wide ranging gallery of WC sketches. He put together some interesting
mockupsabout a year ago that focused heavily on the WC1/2 timeframe, and now his new work spans virtually the entire series. This time he's got aliens in addition to ships, and this lineup includes Confed soldiers, Kilrathi, Firekkans, Steltek and even the Mopoks! His fighter sketches also have grown to include works from
bothPrivateers, and there's a Tri-System Melissa Banks-inspired outfit! The Tarsus first person cockpit also makes an appearance. These are super fun, and I'm anxious to see what else he makes in the future. You can read more about his specific inspiration

Hooray, we have a teenager!
13 years ago a dream was born, a dream about a Community full of great people and lots of fun.
Together we went through ups and downs, worked hard to create something impressive that people always will remember and enjoyed the fruits of this hard work.
This community evolved into something great and after 13 years we are in a situation where we have so many options that its hard to decide.
Whatever that future decisions will be, we keep moving forward, knowing that this is a place by the players for the players.
In the past years I often released impressive numbers about Portal visitors, mod downloads... etc.
I'll skip that today.
While these numbers are about the same as last year (slightly better) I consider them relative unimportant.
You cant measure joy in numbers.
People had the chance to discover all the new stuff in CF2.0 during the past year and also helped to make this mod even better.
People also were active on the forum.
This shows me that this is a
