has put together a neat short clip on the nature of fighter space combat. Daniel talks about the need to turn into your enemy, avoid jousting and aim for large targeting surfaces among other things. Wing Commander isn't the focus of the video, but it may as well be as most of the topic is relevant to fighting in the WC universe. A second video talks about how hard it would actually be to evade missiles in space. Tough times for fighter pilots!

Spacedock gives some handy day-to-day advice on Space Dogfighting.

The Terran Empire’s latest incursion into the modern universe was accidental but no less effective for it. Details around the actual conflict are tightly classified, but debris and technology from that conflict have appeared in our universe, much to our scientists' delight. Starfleet, the Lobi Consortium, and a handful of other interested parties have acquired and replicated all manner of interesting tech from the dark side of the mirror. What twisted paths might the Terrans have taken as their trek through the cosmos diverged ever farther from Starfleet’s? What advances unchecked by treaty or conscience have now arrived in our universe? The Emperor’s Lock Box is filled with brutal machinations Emperor Georgiou saw fit to grace with a berth aboard her flagship, the I.S.S. Charon. It contains a ship, space weapons, duty officer assignments, kit modules, and traits. Additionally, each box contains a

    Happy Bungie Day.

If you’re new to the community, you may find yourself asking, “Wait, why has Bungie dedicated a day to celebrating itself?”

To turn the page back to the beginning, Bungie Day is a holiday started by our community. Every year on the seventh day of the seventh month, we join our fans in celebrating the community as a whole— reflecting on friendships forged, sharing war stories from past skirmishes, or even flipping through some old photos of events where fireteam members met in person for the first time and solidified their bond for years to come.

This year, we have some exciting news.
