Here's a roundup of actively sold WC products. Most are digital, but that makes things easier in certain situations. As we reported last year, the WC Movie is harder to find these days, but we are lucky to still have the Academy television show readily available for a whopping $8 still.     Blackstar Update
    The in 2019 released "Lost Fleet" update opened opportunities to release more story related content for Freelancer Crossfire without interfering with the main story of Crossfire. Lost Fleet ended with a cliffhanger, with the player being stranded on a space station in the middle of nowhere. Blackstar starts right there.

    As fans have continued to fly through the Freelancer universe in Wing Commander ships, they've uncovered a small handful of issues a glitches along the way. L.I.F. has worked diligently to swat them as they pop up. These should make the player experience more solid wither fewer crashes. The latest beta is available here (approx 300 megs), or you can also just grab the small hotfix (about 1 megabyte) and overwrite with the included files. The whole storyline campaign is now playable, and the beta edition of the mod includes enhanced economy options to keep all of the factions' ships relevant throughout the entire game.

    We’re pleased to announce the return of the Research and Development Weekend! This event will run from Thursday, December 5th at 8AM PT to Monday, December 9th at 10AM PST, and features several bonuses throughout STO that will give Captains of all levels a leg up advancing their rank in the Research and Development school(s) of their choice. For those Captains looking specifically for extra help with their projects, all R&D packs throughout the game will give out an extra 25% of the items they currently disperse for the duration of this event. Queue R&D Material Reward Packages (Normal, Advanced and Elite) will reward 25% more R&D Materials and have a chance to reward a Catalyst. Alternatively, Captains wanting to advance through Research and Development schools as fast as possible should seek out Harvest Nodes, located in mission maps throughout STO, which will not only disperse 2 extra R&D
