The BIG BAD 12th Freelancer Aniversary Celebration GALACCTICC RACE

The event tonight will cconsist of two parts : the Race itself and a small ... follow up TOP GUN event
Estimated duration including all parts of the game tonight : 2 - 3 hours

Starting point : Deliverance Battleship in Sol system pls be there at the announced time : 21:30 aka 09:30 pm SERVERTIME ...and don't forget your Coalition bribe

Rules on the Race part :

• No killing of other participants, but ... feel free to make some/extended usage of Cruise disruptors, if you feel alike
  
• NPCs might hinder you ... feel free to eliminate such obstacles.
• Everybody is free to choose his own way (thinking of what you might encounter in some parts of the galaxy, ... "teaming" for - at least some time - might come in handy and may be ... sensible )

Additional objectives for the successful completion of the Race :
(if not fullfilled you won't be considered "arrived" at the endpoint)

• You have to bring to the Arena at least 2 Nomad guns (players will be checked prior to start NOT to bring them already with them)
• You have to arrive in a new ship being one of the listed below :These ships are available in systems you have to check anyway
  Phantom, Eliminator, Borealis, Murphy
  (and "new" means you have to purcchase it on the way, comming in one of them already to Sol doesn't count)

Prizes for each participant will be ... sufficient enough to pay for this purchase.

Rules on the TOP GUN part ... for getting used to your "new purchased ships" :
depending on number of players :

• 4 rounds of everybody against everybody in "last man standing" manner to get the "semifinalists"
  
• 2 rounds of the "semifinalist" to get the two finalists
• THE BIG FINAL for 1st and 2nd : winner is first with 3 kills out of 5
  
• THE small FINAL for 3rd and 4th : winner is first with 3 kills out of 5
• no bats, no bots, no mines
