ED new patch was released: 2.2.03!

  • Yesterday was released new patch with many interesting changes. Full changes list is coming below, and there are also some other things which are not mentioned.


    Imo most important stuff:

    • improvements for matchmaking (included wing functioning)
    • balancing more engineer weapons recipes
    • new missions for ancient ruins
    • SRV it seems have again nicely working scanner (at least it is how it looked to me when I had some brief time test it yesterday)
    • engineers recipes now do not need commodities, you need only micro-materials/data (should be temporary change till will be introduced commodities storage)
    • some ship get new special "military" slots (for military stuff like hull armor upgrades, modules protection upgrades, shield boosters .. )
    • new equipment: modules protection "items" (these are repairable by AFMUs and should help keep your ship alive also when shield fail)
    • Changes to the Power-Play which should significantly reduce influence of so called 5th colon.
