So regardless the launcher uses internet explorer!!!

Wrong, I deleted everything that was linked to IE and i don't have any errors.
Maybe the crossfire update server was down or restarting, then the same errormessage appears

I just wondered about the waypoints >.>
You can't set any "best path" through jumpholes, It's really annoying if you e.g. want to go to utopia or sol.

And I found out something about the "noob protection", I don't know if it's a bug or just real protection:
Create a new char, and don't fire one shot. Then youre invincible untill you shoot or untill you buy a new ship.

I read the alliance/coalition ship sites and I saw that there is no picture from any coalition ship. Or weapon stats...they aren't there, too.

I hope I can help you a bit with it.
