uninstall everything related to FL CF FLMM, and delete the possibly remaining files left over after the unistallations
then install in order: Freelancer, then FLMM, then CF1.81, then Activate CF 1.81 in FLMM
if it still doesn't work try installing to another drive (f.e. if it was installed in C: disk install in D: or in E: disk) - helped to me a couple of times

You are almost 100% right. Disco lacks in such things, if it didn't had RP it could be nothing
xaxa, too bad RP is 99%/100% of everything that's important in FL multiplayer to everyone except the mod freaks - to those who are only interested in having a blast with other players online, instead of playing with themselves (you can do that in your bedroom)

the crash issue that we tried to solve during the past 3 weeks got fixed (it was the main reason for the server crashes)
during the past (meanwhile) 26 hours this has not appearedhm, I know it crashed yesterday while I was in Venn, so the no crashes statement isn't entirely true

just get the nvidia already, its cheaper and there is no game out yet that needs a 500€ card to run smoothly un everything maxed out
(nor will there be one in a year)He probably doesn't have the cash for any of those
