I was wondering if we could have side stories which reveal many aspects of the main plot. The main plot, itself, could just be a basic skeleton of the real story. Side plots can complete the story,
If its a war, the reasons for each faction's participation in the war can be explored using these side stories.
We can also have plots which have very high rewards(like overpowered ships' blueprints which then result in the option of purchasing that ship for free), ofc the plots will also be very hard.

I'd like to learn that too.
Plus, i'd love to get my hands on a good sw. 3DSMax is too expensive unless i pirate it.

And the ones for torpedoes.
Is it possible to add flare lenses to engine and missiles? Maybe even explosions. I'm talking about real flares instead of those we see when a battleship explodes.

Vishnu: Your idea contradicts itself. On one hand you say that light keeps reflecting forever, on the other, you say the box heats up. Light energy needs to be absorbed and converted into kinetic energy of the glass' molecules to heat the system up. This way, at one point, all light energy will get used up(Like Mich said).
Hence, the idea doesn't work. Good try, though.

Also, there is a but AFAIK which makes your ship drift a bit too much. Dock or restart the game to get rid of the bug. Usually happens when you have passed a nebula.
