....not exactly true, Baldy. It's got double-shields and a very potent rail gun,

and 350 thrust speed with little drain. It goes to cruise in 1 second. So its great for its

designated task... Killing cheaters and scoff-laws.

But ur right in one aspect in

normal pvp it is not agile enough to mix it up with 'Blades or Shrouds.

Unfortunatly unless u edit a savegame or take a savegame from CF1.4 with Rag ship

already, u just cant use it in 1.5x single player (cause u cant access the base where it's

sold).

All the special jump holes from the original FL story line are closed

(8 or 9 of them i believe). They were only put there to facilitate the story-line (..speed

things up for the numbered missions). CF has over 150 JH's that do work, tho.

The

Nomad Gate to Death Valley is not that JH close to the X Gate..... Keep looking lol.

No, not all "old" (original

FL) sys have new gates or JH's.. actually there's only a few that do. NY has the famous

gate to Custodian behind Manhatten, which in turn will lead u to the nexis system of X3041

... Which can also be accessed directly from Om Alpha and indirectly from Texas, New London,

or Frankfort. In X there are a ton of new systems to explore and that's where the Coalition

"story line" starts off.

Most of the new gates are easy to find... at the end of

trade lanes and/or close to planets or bases.
