I am also pleased to anounce the virtual merger of Chaos

and R-39 Clans. See R39 thread for further details.

Chaos Clan is proud to announce the vurtual

merger of R-39 and Chaos.

R-39 is now an independant Elite Wing of Chaos. We share

resources and many goals, and as a federated Clan, we are of course the closest of Allies.

Tags will remain the same for the moment but could merge as well in the future (maybe next

char wipe lol).

To be clear from the previous post, there is no war between

Chaos/R-39 and BG (...although things did get a little ugly there lol).

R-39 are a

group of veteran and skilled players from many servers. They share our love for PVP and

space battles as sport. They hold no ill will for any CSF clans on the server, and i hope

that all previous misunderstandings can be solved quickly and peacefully; i will work

towards this end.

We are looking forward to fighting together in off-server

tournements or invasions.

As Ronin (The 39 Ronin), they are by definition Leaderless;

and all are equal. But for diplomatic reasons, two "Speakers" for the wing are Sleepy and

Praetorian.

Those of u who have more than average experience and skill, and who

want to join an elite group (who will be known throughout the FL universe), should contact

them or me.

Ppl who complain that some posts here actually have some substance and meaning:

Every fucing thing wrong in the

world is because of the US. ...... ROFL.

Iraq invasion was controversial and wrong

imo... But plenty of ppl thought it was what is needed for world stability. Again, let me

REPEAT no one complained about kosovo, or Afganistan..... cause western euros agreed that it

needed to be done.

Why are we the police force for the world? Cause no one else

wants to spend the time and money to have an effective military any more; one that could

stop aggression somewhere else in the world where innocent ppl are dieing cause of some

asshole dictator's greed and hatred. The US acts as a deterrent to alot of tin-horn

dictators attking their neighbors, or killing off rival tribes or political rivals.... They

know that if they do those heinious things, we will get them eventually. Who else would they

fear??? The dutch navy, or the luftwaffe?

We are insuring that companies like Shell

Oil (dutch) or BMW or GAF (german) can operate in stabile environments so ppl have jobs so

the world doesnt have another situation like the 1930's again.... If the US just

disappeared off the face of the Earth, and no else stepped up to do that.... Thats exactly

what would happen... Cause u euros would be too busy squabbling amongst urselves to get

ANYTHING done.

Sure half the worlds economy is fuced up... Why?

1. Cause the

third world was shit-on by europe after the end of colonialism in the 50's and 60's...

Just thrown out there to die.... Once ur countries couldnt steal their resources anymore,

they were abandoned to chaos (no pun intended lol). Is that the fault of the US???

Because unlike the Euros, the US allows free trade with third-world countries which has

lowered the US's standard of living somewhat.... and raised the standards in many poor

countries ALOT. So my point is half the world's economy is good or better cause of the

US... The other half bad or worse cause of trade practices like the EC has.

Ppl watch

the news, say "geez, thats terrible". but many (not all) western euros dont want to do shit

about it.. too busy blaming the US for everything that has ever gone wrong in their

lives.... Because thats alot easier than taking any responsibility.

U can hate the

current administration, dislike the news media in the US, and generally disagree with their

policies. Fine, we can all agree to disagree it.

But remember that the US has had

one main goal throughout all the years after ww2: That is to stop communism from taking

over... There is much proof that the Soviets seriously planned an invasion through the Fulda

Gap in the early 1980's, and that the Pershing and Cruise Missiles made them change their

minds... Ironic, isnt it? Cause the ppl in the nato countries all protested about them.

Sometimes i think thats what's behind all this hatred of the US: The victory over

the Soviets. That ppl who were indoctrinated as children to hate the US and who were on the

socialist side, resent that WE BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF THEM...

There are lots of evil

fucs out there who love to see the US humiliated, its military lessened, and politically

outcast by her allies... So they can get away with dominating, torturing, and murdering the

ppl under their control.

So, western europe, what would U do to stop that,

About our freedoms (or lack of it..): Dont forget ive been

Europe many times.. My passport has 2 extra pages stapled in it for all entry/exit stamps..

So if i told an american that in Germany these things exist they would hardly believe u ppl

put up with it:

U need a licence to play golf (NO IM NOT KIDDING)! And if u want to

keep a boat (even a little fishing skiff), it could take 5 years on a waiting list to get

permission and licence.

Personal freedoms in general are much lighter in the US....

There really is no question of that.

The UN (of which the US are a member) initiated a

international warcrime tribunal in Den Haag (which is in my country). The purpose of that

tribunal was to bring people to justice under the authorisation of the United Nations who

commited a war crime in a country and who weren't brought to justice by one of the

countries involved in that incident.
The US denied to sign the treaty in which they would

never get an answer to that question because the only interest is in criticising and not

DOING.

Nitro, yer right the Germans were not very close to an A-Bomp,

imo because their top physicist Werner Heidellman (who first proposed the theory of a

fission bomb), deliberatly sat on it... A true hero to humanity.

But i did not say

thermo-nuclear bomb, but "dirty" uranium bomb (conventional explosives to spread about

deadly radioactive particles).. This is something both the nazis and Japan were capable of

doing by processing uranium ore.

Oh... Without the U.S. in Europe after the war and

the next 40 years until the break-up, you would be speaking Russian now....

Is the

US foolhardy in many of their attempts to stop Arab terrorism? Hell yes they are... Iraq is

a disaster that the majority of americans wish never happened. But did anyone complain

about Afganistan or the first Persian Gulf war, or Kosovo, or Bosnia? Hell no they didnt....

If the US didnt intervene in those cases, does anyone really think that some1 else would

have solved them??

It is fashionable to complain about the US, and alot of

polititions make their careers from it.... But the fact is that many times in the past

american blood was spilled to right wrongs and do the tough, dirty jobs that ppl in western

europe didnt want to do, but were secretly glad that some1 else would do FOR THEM.... So

they could complain in freedom.

I disagree about anther big war

being inevitable. It is only if we let it be. Dispite all the crappy things goin on the

planet recently, we are still progressing slowly every year to have more educated ppl....

the higher the level of knowlede generally, the less likely wars are. And who knows... the

Internet may be the great educator of the word. The communicats device that shows us all ppl

of different cultures are basically the same as ourselves, and therefor cant be viewed as

"things" and must be accepted as equals.

Small wars and terrorism will stay a while

longer... Until there are no more dirt-poor desperate ppl with nothing to lose by dieing.

Their only utility seems to be for gun power,

numbers are not so easy to find. The US General in charge was a real red-neck asshole named

Curtus LeMay... he was behind the anti-civilian daylight attks in Dresdin, Berlin, and

Munich, too btw. His ideal was for EVERYONE there to die so it's not surprising if he

thought it was under quota. In 1962 he was the head of Joint Chiefs of Staff.... and advised

President Kennedy to bomb the Soviets during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Actually in

spring 1945 he changed the normal daylight high-altitude bombing runs which were

ineffective, into night low-level attks. He had them remove all extra weight from the

B-29's, including all the gun turrets, and stuffed them full of small incendary bombs. From

then on the bombing campaign was a "success" (a sick use of the word).

figures i have seen are: Hiroshima about 110k Nagasaki about 70k, night bombings in Tokyo

estimated at over 300k (no one's really sure but more than 70% of the metro area burned).

But radiation-related deaths from cancer in later years upped the atomic count, dunno how

much.

All the deaths are tragic and the innocent Japanese civilians didn't deserve

to die. That bastard Tojo and his fascist clique did, for sure tho..... As did Hitler and

the hard-core nazis, and Stalin for his crimes. But unfortuantly it's always the ppl who

end up paying.

@Neberbord: Forcing the Japanese to surrender by dropping the A-bombs saved

JAPANESE lives.... The conventional firebombings of Tokyo killed twice as many ppl as both

atomic bombs put together.... Japan used nerve gas on millions of Chinese just for sport and

experiments, until 2 years ago no one even heard about it (the americans suppressed it). As

they retreated from Manilla, they killed over 120,000 Fillipinos for no reason at all...

What were we supposed to do with these ppl????

Both Germany and Japan were working on

"dirty" bombs using uranium to poison cities with radiation, and another 6 months of war

would have seen that happen and worse maybe... does anyone really think they were not

ruthless enough to do that?

But u are right to an extent, many incidents of war

crimes by the Allies happened... shooting of small groups of prisoners mainly on the Western

front, but alot of murder and rape on the Eastern front as the Soviets got their revenge on

the German homeland. And the carpet bombings by the Brits and US was very controversial, and

imo tragic and "wrong". And the British gave up the "white" Ukrainian partisans at the end

of the war to certain death at Stalin's hand.

Dont anyone ever forget it was the

most brutal war in history, made by ppl who all thought they were "civilized" and "right" ;

lets hope no one EVER tries shit like that again.

As to the question "Why go there?", for exploration and gaining

loot.. There are several items there that can be found nowhere else.
