Turn off your AV when installing. once install is complete, add an exception rule to your AV that is the entire path for the FLMM directory and Freelancer directory. This should take care of the problem. You can also do a search of this site as there are several threads regarding this issue and different AV's and their reaction to Crossfire.

Well, I have lost count of how many times I have played Mis 27 and don't recall having that issue. soon as Cruise was dis-engaged, I hit "Esc" "Z" (engine kill) and use my thrusters to clear the area quickly, then spin and engage DK from behind them.

There are some hints and tips in the Wiki - Crossfire that will guide you to locations of various upgrades.

Had same problem. Sent note to Huor via chat. looks like we are done until he or Op can restart it and see if it is stable then.

Well it was good for awhile but it just crashed again, same weird jerky motion, and while docking got stopped, turned backwards and then completed landing but as soon as i was on deck, got the taking longer then expected and then ended back at the server list and the server was not listed. Tried a couple times to log off and back on, no change, server not listed.

Nope, still messed up. several of us stuck in dock and can't undock. Get the msg about taking longer then expected, followed by msg that connection is lost. click OK and server list comes up and either does not show the server or shows the server with 1 player. Exit all the way out and restart launcher, get server list, make selection, chose character and as soon as the undock icon is clicked the whole msg process starts again.

Open a ticket in BugTracker with this info. I am currently on but I know that sometimes if you switch characters it trips an anti-cheat trigger. this is usually cleared up rapidly.

DL Huor's file and installed. When checking to see if I had excess update files like (IOC)Wanderer had and I found that the Freelancer file in the CF 2.0 mod EXE folder is dated 10/8/14 while the one in the Freelance folder is dated today. Is this going to cause problems or ??? Up to now it hasn't.

Tried to start game and got the launcher window showing it was updating with another window overlayed on it showing the msg "trying to read update information". Then it started doing what Aldenar Odin had happen. I did not have the excess files that (IOC)Wanderer did.

See Op's rmks in General Discussion forum. He attempted to install Huor's fix and a couple other updates and problem is worse, currently waiting for Huor to look at it so server is down mean while.

Have you tried to use the save from chapter 6? You will have to repeat that but that is better then doing the whole thing over. Using save games that are ones you made are problematic at best. Always use the saved made by the game as a starting point when restarting. This way all the triggers are properly set.
