It was an amazing race that took place today aroudn Liberty! The first Round of the Galactic Racing Championship was fast-paced and was the theatre of a very close finish (in the scale of the universe ofc!).
After starting at Orion Outpost in Oasis, many pilots split up in Texas to take the California JH instead of the New York JG that was quite congested with the local traffic! (FALLEN)Mercenaro, [CFPD]Michael, SA_UTRACK and Slurm all took this route to reach the first Checkpoint. And it paid off because they all finished the race in front of Jenz0r, Leroy and @Na6$_(RUS) who took the New York jump gate.
After only a few minutes of racing @Na6$_(RUS) was disconnected.
The second Checkpoint at Pueblo station saw a change of positions for the lead as Michael had overtaken Mercenaro somewhere between California and Pueblo. Disrupted trade lanes and Liberty Rogues Bloodhounds messing with our Racers probably slowed some down.
The third Checkpoint, the Custodian system, was the theatre of a nice catch-up by SA_UTRACK who was far from (FALLEN)Mercenaro and [CFPD]Michael's after Pueblo.
But the last sprint to the Finish Dock on Manhattan was won by [CFPD]Michael who finished about 30 seconds in front of (Fallen)Mercenaro and SA_Utrack who were seconds apart in second and third respectively! Slurm claimed 4th minutes laters, followed closely by JenZ0r. Leroy was ranked 6th after all other racers had completed the course. Too bad the course wasn't made for cruisers today!
Here are the results! Prizes and points were given out as follows :

Maybe i can help A LITTLE with modeling a few buildings or anything that is not going to be animated... i'm too n00b to animate stuff.
What do you need done? Train station, barn, bank, sherif office, prison, Amerindian villages ? PAN PAN!

That good old Ioncross Char editor can wor fine if you can take a few hours to add all CF bases and systems in it's ini files.... PM me for the files (they hold 1.82 systems and major stations)

considering i got shaders off. i still have no way to make them work...
However, i got new info on this problem :
- It affects only the "in-space" cutscenes, the ground ones are working 100% of the time (including the ships flying over Sprague - are they ground or LostParadise-like scenes anyway ?).
- Codecs are indeed not related to this, since it's the simple rendering of the game graphics which work rest of the time. Intro videos are working fine.My conclusion is that the problem is not the rendering of the space cutscenes but the switch between in-space interactive to cutscene mode is causing it. When the cutscene starts from within inside a station or a planet's landing pad --when the game is not in space interactive mode already-- the space views are working; like the "Inside Benford Station" cs : the few seconds the camera is outside the base as a piece of rock is flying past the camera is totally fine, same for another cs i don't remember when...

Please note a little istake in my rpeviosu post : "i can't see" instead of "i can see".
Yup Media Player is doing fine, i can also watch the intro movies although the SWAT one's flickers a little bit but i guess that's because it is in UBER HI-RES and my PC has to resize it 1440x900...
I am wondering why it happens to me and nobody else....
here is a screenie of my CF install options if it can help :
