imho, as it goes for genre awards, i am not sure there will b any genre awards this year, since they r not mentioned on the overview, unlike previous year. but i still hope mod db is gonna stick to some kind of tradition, so we might have genre awards in certain lvl.

anyway, even if cf doesn't get its place on moty 2007, i will not change my idea about it, and there r future moties too.

as it goes for btrl, i don't think it was a bad choice for 1st place on indie game awards. the game is based on a limited and old fs2 engine, true, but it looks interesting, and the work they have done is tremendous. my friend will b checking the game out, so i will have a report for us, when analysis is completed.

sl: tsw hasn't missed anything. it is still under development, and we could not submit it yet, so there is open space for some future mod db competition for our indie game.

fl mod had never won player's choice. it's just not possible, since there is too much fps players in the world, and their modding scene is the biggest one. we can't compare to that.

now, there's a difference between moty 2007 and moty 2006, on which discovery got prize. there r no genre awards on moty 2007, and discovery won the simulations genre award last year. so, i don't know if it is possible for us to win this year, but i'll hope until the last minute.

u can try other t values, too, gives various sizes. m is for mod, but i don't know any other than g for gif. u can try other letters, see what does it do, if u wish. or search the net for info.

that's because of karma voting... it has nothing to do with how much activity points u've got, but how much ppl respect ur additions to mod db, comments especially.

because of my activity that got flamed by w0tk4, i have negative influence... grrr! ahh, well, whatever. at least my karma is positive.

hmmm, the error u were getting before doom's suggestions refers to flconfigdatabase.txt file, which is 3d hardware definition file. it doesn't have an entry for ur card. maybe op could get this file updated for 1.8, and during update sequence in 1.7 launcher. op, plz, reconsider.

now, about the troubles u r still getting: doom, r u sure that 32mb setting is good? try without it.
