Ive not owned a train, or any cap ship for that matter. I've just had an Eagle, an APC a Warblade and a Bastard, so i couldnt exploit that, if that the docking with train thing were talking about. perhaps i did mistake in my calculations and i didnt loose the money then, or perhaps some money given to me was dirty cash?

I made my money with an APC standard dock to dock on the BMG run that i learned by watching PX clan. I've logged 20 hours more than my char shows because i had to delete and remake {LP}Saxon{X} after the reps got messed up. I've been online pretty much 24/7 so to be level 75 on 1 char and 65 on another i wouldnt call a miracle of trading.

I lost 30 mil, but in a fighter, not a train. I thought as first i had made some mistake, but as i see here others loose some too.

At least i can make 30 mil back, feel sorry for those that lost more.

Also lost power gens before aswell, but lateley, it doesnt seem to be happening. Been online a lot and none have disapeared in past 3 days.
I will try buying a ship very soon, and see if it gets lost in the transfer stage, this is where i thought i lost it before, i thought it was my mistake.

i was wonderring if the server is going to be back up at all tonight?, it seems to have disappeared around 5pm this evening (about 6 hours ago), and im not showing it in the list anymore. am i the only one with this?

just get stuck in, nobody is taking it that serious as far as i seen and i been online a lot, we larking about a lot at the moment. hell im even flying with some CFPD lol. atmosphere on the server is the best ive ever seen it.

I tend to agree with Argos. Anything below 1 million is nothing in this game. Maybe if all ways of making money, such as trading, datadisks and pods were halfed or reduced by a factor of 10 it might actually make buying uber ships and destroyers a challenge.

The more i find in this mod the more amazed i am. Some really good descisions made, this truly is the best mod for FL ever. The new benchmark

the laptop runs very smooth i was on my own on it for hours, disconnected, then rejoined 30 mins later to a server full of people and Marauder told me he'd been there for 4 hours, it was confusing, like some alternate universe lol

not a bad idea, maybe all who log in can try keep quiet? as a test

I also get this when trying to re-launch the game after i have shut it down. On Vista, Freelancer does not close down very quickly, its still running in the background for sometimes up to 2 minutes. During this time Aero is disabled and only basic windows graphics are showing. Waiting for a short while, Freelancer.exe terminates, and Aero re-instates, and then i can launch the launcher again without the [E5] Error.

It isnt a bug as such. Its a possibility that i just need to run a defrag to speed this up a little more tho.
