    Nope it is propably the Adv. Debs you are using. Turn them off and report if it works please(worked for me at least).
    Im was having the same problems and this would proove my theory that the Debilitators are bugged somehow.

    Since when does the home country count on Crossfire or SWAT?
    I think really nobody ever cared where you come from. What we care about are languages. I understand you want to show others that you speak Polish (capital P there). But fighting for reasons that lie in the history of your country sounds just stupid.
    Nobody would try to kill Gunny for invading the Irak, even if some sure think that it was unneccesary.
    From my point of view this community has never discrimminated anyone for his home country...
    What matters most is what you do, not where you come from.


    If you want to open a Polish clan thats fine. Im sure you had problems to read the TRF forums as they are almost completely in German (we warned you about that but its ok;)).
    And if you really do create your clan, please give it a roleplay.


    Edit: If you want to show people your Polish,why dont you create charakters with Polish names?

    Confirmed, crashes happen to others around when I kill NPCs or players.
    Looks like this started with the graphic update, but it might have also been the installation of another game (Guild Wars).
    I tried reinstalling the everything already, which means either my account is somehow corrupted (which i will try to find out) or its something with my computer.
    Help appreciated (again)

    At least Im the first who had this kind of problem and it only happens when im near (if its right what doom and you said)

    Does anyone ever read what is in those Mod Error subforum?
    Anyway was having the same problem untill I turned down the details to minimum and started to turn on everything step by step. For me everything on maximum and effects on 50% work

    The new sound drivers brought no change but:
    For me the Problem is solved after turning down the effects to 50%.
    As there is no visible change in my graphics im fine.


    Also I want to thank everyone, especially Wavey for helping. When I posted the file I was sure nobody would read it.

    The FLspew file is about half a MB of really complicated text. If anyone has an idea what to search for that would be great.

    The problem is still there after reinstalling Freelancer and my drivers. Shift F12 does not work (whereever I press it). I did not find a way to deactivate blur in the forums. It would be really nice if someone could give me a hint where to search. As I said there is no d3d8 dll in my FL exe directory and even shift F9 doesnt change a bit.


    To the other users who experianced this: Do you run widescreen?


    Update: This is the Error I get when I wait a couple of seconds after the crash:

    Let say there is no d3d8.dll in my EXE floder. Where do I press Shift F12 and do I have to press it every time I launch the game?

    Since the big graphic update me and some others experienced client crashes when we saw ships explode.
    It seems like Freelancer gets minimized but you can not activate it nor close it completely without killing the process.


    This problem sometimes does and sometimes doesnt occure. 3D sound is turned off of course etc etc
    My computer is not broken and Im running recent drivers.
