I experienced this after the last update. I believe OP said something like there were probloms with npc behaviour in that they were not doing what they were designed to do and that the update was to fix this. It could be that it is npcs using the cloaking device.

The sever is not recording any activity when you are killed you will be returned to your last recorded position. May cause you some problems.

The parts can be purchased, i have checked, but whether or not it works is another matter I do not have enough credits to try atm. I just like to test things in SP that way you can always reverse things which do not work out as you hoped.

OK thanks, so I have to fly back to sirius or altair to earn enough credits to buy the cloaking device parts? I was hoping I could earn the credits here as it is a long way there and back.

I have been following the new missions in SP mode and have reached the point where I have been to Canis sector and have now been instructed to get a job. I am in Dom Kavash space, Minnck, and the only job board I have found says I need to be frienlier. I killed several of DK enemies on the way to Weth but my rep with the DK stayed the same. So how do I get a job to continue the quest please?

I would wait and see if I were you, in my experience, missiles in 1.82 stopped working if more than 12 -15 players were logged on. With the increased load it would not surprise me if guns were not the best option.

If you had to be friendly with a faction to buy a commodity, you might find you can't sell it due to the fact that best place to sell it is hostile and you can't dock. This would be a difficult problem to resolve especially with a random market. I think it wuld be best not to to alter this aspect. However, having to be smuggler to smuggle I think is a good idea.

Yes to a point. But I doubt if merc or pirate clans would agree. Surely it is a pirates make up to smuggle?

Having to display a smugglers licence presents another problem. Only one licence is allowed, clans must display their rp licence so clans will not be able to smuggle unless they are a smuggler clan. Which leaves only freelancers who would be able to smuggle.

After the last server crash I relaunched X-fire and obtained several new files however as soon as i launch any of my characters my computer crashes to desktop. I wonder did the players on line get the new files?

There appears to be a problem with the large transport. Players get kicked when trying to launch.
