Consider the other perspective. The trader is happily trading no pirate in the system, and then a pirate in another system switches to the traders system having previously planted his char in a tactically good position. I have also experienced the pirate deliberately getting kill by npcs to enable them to return to a previous system to catch a trader. Pirates also switch from their trains to a fighter without docking.
These in my opinion are just the same as the trader switching. I see nothing wrong in switching once you have docked. A trader cant be expected to take on a fighter in a train. Once the trader has docked, he has carried out the role play by fleeing from the pirate and reaching a safe haven. To then get into his fighter to me is quite acceptable.Whilst we are on the topic of taxing why is it the practice to pay the pirate if he kills you; you having previously refused to pay tax, but the pirate has nothing to pay if he is killed by the person refusing to pay the tax? Seems to me the pirate has nothing to lose. Also, I have experienced pirates, who still expect to get paid, if eventually they kill you. When I joined Crossfire I was told never pay tax, this I now know and agree is completely wrong as it spoils role-play. So to all you pirates out there, I will pay tax, but you have to kill me first, which is not too difficult but at least it is more fun.
Reverting back to the original point; the problem to me is that the more we start to complicate matters the more arguments will arise. Why worry just get on and have fun. There are plenty of players wanting to join in with the spirit of role play. For those that dont, try to enlighten them, if this does not work move on and have fun with those that do. Those are my thoughts.

I may have missed a post regarding this, but the client and server files appear to be out of sync.
