GAH!!!!

OK so I can log in with one of my character's who is now in arena, but if i try to go to another system, my cf crashes.

I try to log in with my other characters whom is in 3 other systems and not in arena but then my cf also crashes.

I was actually amazed I got my CF to work again but now the question, must I again resintall my cf from scratch to be able to play in other systems or shall I wait for 1.8 to release?

P.S. Zapp and me had a nice chat going too >_>
P.S.S. yes my 3d sound was disabled

Hmmmm Jack you speak truth. But then again that's when and IF CF 1.8 gets release.

I think you (OP) mentioned that your leaving the FL community etc. at the end of the year to have more room in your own Real Life, if I'm not mistaken.
In that sense I see 2 possibilities happening all pointing at 1.8.

1) OP decides to release 1.8 as he steps down as head of the FL community (sad that this will happen but all good things comes to an end i guess)

2) OP gets attacked, CF 1.8 vanishes and it never gets out.

I am sorry for saying this but, CF 1.8 is infact the biggest mod ever, and there is still much much more being added to it. Thus the reason why not 1 release date was accurate when it was announced 2 years ago at first. (cant believe its been that long oO)

Which is why I think option 1 is most likely to happen.
But lets not forget how suck ass life can really get, thus making option 2 the most likely to happen reality wise.

Anyways, hope the 1.8 project is still going through ok, cant wait to see it available to download

There is but to not spoil too much, go to the Hamburg system (whatever that name is) and search for the quantos system jumphole in the asteroids field nearby. It should lead to X-3043 and in turn all the new systems ^_^. Have fun

I ask only cause I cant get 1.7 to work anymore in any way. I formated, uninstalled and reinstalled, downloaded a new copy from moddb and did countless reinstalls and also let it update. I just cant get it to work anymore. Hoping that 1.8 will work nicely first time off

Yes I would, for one, sometimes I cant open winamp to play with CF. So then I use the in-game music instead. Most people would notice that my gameplay, npc and pvp alike, are best when I have the music on. Especially the music from Arena, it keeps me in the zone

Personally I think he's a typical example of a sore looser. When you see other mods, you don't criticize them, compare them to CF whatsoever. This guy does and whats even worse is he thinks less of anything else than discovery. If I didnt know better I'd say he is prolly part of the discovery crew (if there even is one). Fairplay was lost long ago in my eyes. He crossed the line too far now.

EDIT: I never had anything against discovery and never really compared the gameplay or anything game wise, just community wise that i did once. NOW thats changed, discovery is removed from my knowledge banks of FL mods.

Personally - I didn't care about survivors when the station blew up since it looked too awesome. All I was taking notice too is when the ship undocks, that small amount of time on the close up - the new texture-ing is INSANE - and the new explosion effects is Jaw dropping. not to mention the new Lighting effects. Well done OP

Personally we all know who discovered The black hole. It was not a normal human being it was an overly genius scientist who used his telescope. All the scientists's jaws dropped open at the image and then the Hubble space telescope was made. It brought back more and better images of our universe out there and MORE universes other than ours. Among all these pictures there was Black Holes. Guess who named em. Scientists. Guess who made THEORIES on them. Scientists!!! and Guess who is believing every single word that comes out of scientists. Us people who aren't scientists.

If a scientist told you that the sun will die in 5 billion years, you will believe it cause you wont care. but if something goes wrong with the sun somehow and then someone else says the sun will actually blow up in 5 years, you wont believe him. So In truth you cant debate what the so called black hole is and what it does.

No human being has ever come close to a black hole, we have only seen what it is capable of and our eyes only goes as far as outside the black hole. we cannot see into it and thus you cannot say that matter gets destroyed, it isnt a worm hole or is or the fact that it just tightly compacts everything for all time.

The only way humanity will ever know for sure what a black hole does is when someone volunteers to risk their life, go into it and see if he comes back alive some way. I doubt that is possible though because a black hole's gravitational field is extremely powerfull so his ship would be destroyed while being pulled to the centre.

anyways back to the matter at hand I hope that my post above will stop any black hole debates in this thread, make a new one this one is for discussing options for OP's brilliant plan and REMEMBER - It's a game! Too much reality breaks a game.

SOOO heres my 2 cents for your idea. I was thinking what would happen if 2 black holes are close to each other. Would they consume each other? would they die out for no reason or would they create a massive chain reaction and cause a gravitational collapse reversed compressing space? (in other words everything pulls in instantly and ....wait for it......BIG BANG!)

neither do I - there is a thread somewhere in which me and blade found out what the reason was. That reason is in avg as well but this feature of avg/vista can be de-activated. i did it too and play CF fine now - online that is.

OK i have 80% knowledge of the list there - meaning 4/5 games i didnt play - only read about.

However Star wars Rouge Squadron???? I have that and i finished it in 38 minutes my first time getting it lol. No offense to the star wars fans (take heed im also a fan of star wars, else i wouldnt have buaght this game) but Rouge Squadron is one of the bad star wars games out there. Was fun to finish it once off though

Singularity bombs are like mini black holes only portable and very dangerous if I'm not mistaken

Question - since your working on it, will the Singularity bomb require a new type of weapon sub system to be able to use it? like for example the Sunlayer torpedo luancher 10 000?
Also will the bomb be very expensive and rare since I can just see the havoc and chaos if everyone uses the singularity bomb in a arena or mass pvp xD
