Anlon, I just want to tell you this:
I have played CF-SP many, many times, and I have NEVER given up!
I admit, that it is not easy to kill a pirate at the beginning, but it is possible.
I have done it many times.
When I needed help I asked politely and the community always helped me.
But I think that it was not your intention to ask for help. I think that the only thing that was on your mind was to belittle this mod and that is not OK. -

After coming back to CF after a long brake I noticed that my character name "Dracon6" was not available !
You can not imagine my surprise ! Someone stole my name !
Anyway, that was my first thought. Then I found out that there was a character-wipe on the server and I felt kind of relieved .
Now I would like to know how to get my name back, because it is not on my account and I can not create it on the server.PS. I don't care about the money or the ship, I just want my name back.

I made a clean install ( I have done this a lot of times

And I get the same error while trying to activate the mod ( in FLMM 1.31 )
And it goes like this :Error: problem activating 'Crossfire Mod 1.81 Client Edition'
Error: SHCopyFile failed ('C:\Program Files\Freelancer Mod Manager\mods\Crossfire1.81\EXE\Freelancer.exe' to 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\Freelancer.exe')PS: I downloaded the mod at least three times by now, and still no luck.
HELP !!!
Please.EDIT: [SIZE=3]Never mind, I solved the problem. It was my Antivirus (AVG). Deactivating did not help! I had to uninstall it![/SIZE]

As for antivirus, I use AVG.
You might want to check this antispyware:

And now for the conclusion, my other problems:
I am flying the Eagle HF and I was going through the Galileo/Shikoku Jumpgate, game crashed (twice ). When I came back on the server I was 60k away from the JH (G1 in red).
Then I went back to NY and found the JH to Custodian, and thought I look around there , but my game crashed again as i was going trough the JH.Is it me or ...

After the 4. reinstall everything got a bit blurry.See you all in space!
