Register a new accountthe best vhf is the saracen, kossac is good in pvp but too unstable in battle scenarios. kusari and reliant are the best capships, best fire spread and manouverability. the APC is the best small frieghter, ask amos i took out his rhienland cruiser and Xaf's vhf with mine!!.
And yes i have all of them!

try following my method:
1. delete flmm and all mods within
2. delete FL and all saved data
3. reinstall FLMM
4. download and unzip CF1.7
5. reinstall FL
6. activate mod in FLMM.
7. Launch FL from the FLMM
this takes me 15-20 mins tops and never fails.

1. de-activate all mods in FLMM
2. uninstall FLMM
3. Unistall FL including all saved game data
4. Reinstall FLMM
5. Download and unzip CF1.7
6. reinstall FL
7. activate mod in FLMM and launch FL
works every time. it can be done in 15-20 mins m8. have fun and see you in space.

these guys, as far as my experience, really know how to enjoy themselves! with the odd custodian invasion to secure thier highly prized whiskey, taxing the hell out of us honourable traders(*cough*.....ahem, thats better!), and generally doing the best to up the RP here in CF. Aswell as providing the rest of us with much sought after target practice!

Highly unlikely that they will be ready if someone tells them how to get there. but with gaming experience and finding it themsleves using the storyline i think they will be far better prepared. with more CF experience and better ships and weps they will have a better chance of survival in Altair rather than tagging along with a more experienced player who knows what to expect.

if we told everybody the answer to that question when they first start playing CF it would be no fun finding it. follow the story line and you will find the way to altair.
