i think the new game that advertised on lancersreactor, space force 2, looks like a good choice. you can see its obvious FL influences. just need to see if there is a MP option. not that i think that FL is going to "die off" anyway, it has a huge following (just my opinion). ppl play FL coz of what it is, an origonal sci-fi multi-role playing game. i dont think ppl here would be that interested in straying too far from that theme.

Hi Gust,
i understand your frustration m8 when you can see other ways of getting the mod out to the rest of the CF players. I would love to see it get out to everyone within the next 1/2 hour! But this is OP's choice, and dont you think he has already thought about every suggestion that has been and will be made at him? of course he has. more than anything i think he trusts the guys at LR far more than anyone else. in giving the mod to another site, to make available for download, you never know who may "mess" with the files. im not saying that other ppl would, its a case of putting your faith in the ppl you trust. this is OP's "baby", if this was your mod would you put it out to anyone you didnt know or trust? i wouldnt. yea OP may change his mind or come up with another way of getting the mod out to us all, but badgering him in nearly every new thread is just going to piss him off. bearing in mind how many ppl do/have/are posting on this subject. As gunny and Drakon said at the start of testing "any questions on this subject forward to the more experienced players of the server", to ease OP's time to get on with the mod. none of us need to be seeing anymore questions about the new mod until OP, or whoever, posts that the mod is available. or to keep us all posted on the situation. im more frustrated than most as i have the mod and just a handfull of multi-timezoned players to ammo spam at! i hope it gets out real soon for everyones benefit, until then i will remain patient *shaking uncontrollably,cold sweats*!!! please guys try to be patient, it'll be worth the wait. and lets just wait and see what happens, Patience is a virtue(lol,pfft)!! true!

And all computer illiterate ppl still have cd roms in thier machines coz the have no idea how to use anything more technical! my machine is nearly 4 years old and i have never updated any part of it. why? no need too, no idea how to and no intention of!!

lets hope it is just a backlog at LR thats the problem. i'm not suggesting any paranoia here, its just that it does seem LR has been "falling behind" recently.

not getting desperate m8, as a tester i have the mod. i'm just anxious that everyone else get it to asap, so we can all get back online and have fun. the sooner the better. this is a great community on CF and we all deserve to be playing it. the ball is in LR's court and anything i can do to get things moving for everyone else the better.
