Just started Crossfire for the first time and was wondering if it is supposed to not show the names of the planets,bases, etc. or if I just have something set wrong.

I think you need to do a complete new install of CF and freelnacer mod manager possibly even download everything...again. stuff like that happens when you do a bad install or simply have bad luck while downloading. hope that helps

while uninstalling FL did you delete all saved game data and screenshots m8? if not then try it.
