Deja Vu again - I would be flabergasted if you are surprised by this.

People going in without permission? No? Really?

Some people already have permission, some are allies, some will follow your rules. I expect it's a minority of pilots not adhering to them - some dont know, some dont care.

If I can make a suggestion, maybe you could serve some warrants on the tresspassers (you are the cops afterall and it distresses me you are so powerless (exasperated) in this matter) -

That would be some good rp afterall - and that is what you said you wanted to achieve by taking on Sovets

If in your wisdom you could authorise some "other" pilots (IFC_Az - he is not too bad) to help administrating some chastisement to rougue elements in our midst - I would happy to help - afterall as the official cops - you can make anything official - right?

Played Oblivion for ages and that's the first time that happened.

If you want a place to call home - a place where your mates get meet and talk and practise and get to know each other - a dead end system sounds good.

If you want to be constantly hassling other people about why they crossed your system without permission, be on the verge of a war with a another clan, spend a lot of time on these things rather than rp - choose a system with numerous exit points.

One rule in NY is that there can be no firing on another player in NY

I think its a rp free zone - thus many demands for people to leave NY and join in the rp

If that wasnt the case no doubt some evil law breakers (cops) would fire on un suspecting new players as soon as they undocked.

OP - please dont see this as criticism - it's just an opinion - ultimately you are the arbiter for these things.

Anyway - in pvp it seems the most agile ships have an edge - maybe some of these new ones can be just as agile as the Lagg/Saracen/Pred?

But I got no doubt you have already thought of these things.

I voted yes as I would like to see more ships in the game.

However, I do hope that something is done to stop 1-2 ships being superior to everything else - I would like to see more ships being a good viable choice in pvp.

It would be great is server clans used their ships from their home system as their main ship (in my opinion one of the advantages of having your own system) and this would help identify clans as well as their tags.

But this would only happen if the ships become better balanced with each other.

For 4 years most people been telling me there is no rp in clan systems and now you are saying you want pirates to do rp and go there and steal ships.

IF that is the case I will not expect to see any threads on the forum about pirates not following the rules and invading Sovets for ships - as both u and Waves are sort of saying you are encouraging it.

Its a shame people have to go to Sovets to get rp now - I cant understand why u cant do it all over Liberty - frankly.

And - in the old days - I preferred having Gunny close than far away -

As Gunny is the main rp agitator on the server I expect to see an exodus of people heading that way to either kill him or be killed by him.

I am not even in his line of sights these days as a confirmed pacifist and even tonight I felt an urge to go to Sovets - crazy innit?

Despites Guns mention of IFC in his new rules - I will try and speak here as an objective observer.

It does seem to me that there is a cold war going on here between two entities and the rest of us are caught in the crossfire or taken out as collateral damage.

Also, I would think, clan systems are not part of the roleplay - but more about clans showing their committment to the server - but so often, and for so long, clan systems are used strategically to punish people on your opposite side to your rp - its very petty.

Whatever the outcome here - and I do admire Guns attempt to push rp - I hope its more rp but less hate and bitching etc

Although I would wish it otherwise - there is no divine right for anyone to have complete access to all the best equipment - like the rest of us you will have to do some hard grafting and earn some cash to buy the best equipment.

Saying that - most clans have been happy enough to sell you stuff unique to their clan system if you ask them nice enough - and with an additional fee

If you are a freelancer - you would do well to try and explore as many systems as possible now - as for some reason that I dont like - once you join a clan some doors will be closed to you.

Most clan systems also have a little logo visible as soon as you enter.

Those two items you mention happen to be located in pirate systems - but believe it or not - some of them are nice guys and will pass you some dodgy equipment for a small fee

But I always thought this business a bit petty

I would thought if you were gonna give permission for anyone to enter your system - it would be to another server clan member - as in my view - both parties have committed to the maintanence and good government of the server

If i ever had a system -

My main rule would be any other server clan member can enter anytime and without permission

It just seems so many time we have been fighting over these trivialities and not focusing on roleplay and fun.

I dont mean to make light of your issue Tito - so please dont steal any of my flowers next time we meet if I am online you can certainly count on my help to preserve the integrity of your system and chastise tresspassers - as long as I dont have to fight!!!
