.......I enjoyed this game. Not a sim
but still good arcade stile fly/shoot with a decent stroy. Pretty challenging also.....And I
was sooo looking forward to the sequal which will probably never be reliesed on PC. Oh
well.

In FL Vanilla I had a fight with the
Nomads before ventureing into the unkown universe where I had a few more fights with the
pesky Nomads. But I was able to pick up a few Nomad weapons. Have these been written out of
CF? Because every time I get in a scrap with the Nomads now and use my tractor beam, I come
up with absolutly nothing. The beam seems to be working fine but nothing. Am I doing
something wrong?

This sound good but doesn't most
fire walls (and I'm only using the Microsoft vesrsion) give you a pop up asking this? I
remember no pop up. What would I do, manually open the firewall up and plug in the
address?

I've flown on a few vanilla FL servers
before installing Crossfire. But I only tried toget on the other night. Actually I wasn't
able to get on any server. They showed up and I did a refresh but to no availe.

So I should do as discribed above and upgrade to the 1.54? Or wait untill you guys
sort it out? Don't confuse an old person, it isn't nice.........But then I guess you guys

.......A tour version of their
marvilous mod Crossfire? What I mean is that they have worked so hard at creating so many
more systems and things that I'm itching to see them all. but being inept at some of this
ol' fighting and such, I doubt I'll ever see all the wonders they have created. So Tour
version would be just that. It would enable you to see it ALL and not get waisted. I know,
where's the fun, the challenge. and I agree with you. But It's a shame that some of us,
because we're week, can't see ALL the wonders you guys have worked so hard on. Well enough
of my Chimping up guys, great work, what I've seen. Keep up the hard work.[103]

Hell I haven't been able to even get on for MP. I find the one
server that says Crossfire and click on it (others too, come to think about it) and nothing
happens. I mean litterly that clicking has no effect. Is there another way in, like typing
in the address? I'd take you up on your offer JtaK, if I could. [4]

Yea, I think we're all
in the same boat. and SWAT (ya gotta love um) is sitting behind some nebula laughing at us
wimps (speaking Chiefly about myself).
And the angry factions are SO well coordinated
too, huh? They salvo their missles to hit you just as you bring your cruise back on line.

Refresh my memory. Where do I find these pesky Xenos. I know I've
scrped with them and that NO one in the factions seem to like them. Just can't remember

....Is it my
imagination or has the faction balance been changed? What I'm refering to (yea, boo hoo) is
that in the vanilla campain into my vanila sp of FL I think I pissed all the factions off at
one time or another. But through bribes I was able to come to some simblance of balance with
most all factions. I.e. Outcast and Corsairs etc. With CF it doesn't seem to have the same
feel. I Bribe one and the others go crazy. Now I know this occurs in vanills FL butI don't
remember it to this extreme. I bribed the the Corsairs and the bounty hunters were more or
less neutral. This is ok with me. But the Sumaries hated me. Bribed them and the bloody
Republicans hated me. Is it just me and my OLD feeble mind or is there a change in the
faction balance (to make it more FUN?)? [4]

I was flying into the New Toykeo system and
noticed that the planet Fuji was spinning like a fast top. I mean blurring almost. Now my
question is, what keeps all the water on the planet....no I mean is this a bug? Do I get a
prize for finding it? What? Mys that you say, my surprise awaits me if I try to land on it.
Yea, sure......I can't swim and my ship doesn't have water wings.....can ya buy those?

People, I'm 58 years
old, and I'm about as good as they get (conceded though that sounds). But Video games is a
different story. Here I'm barely holding my own. I'm not quicker than some of these NPC,
so I have to try to be smarter. If ya know the dog might bight, don't stick your bloody
hand in it's mouth. But then I guess if your quick and nimble sticking your hand in the
dogs mouth just means it can't bight as hard. Still, have ya ever tried to get rid of a
rabid dog hanging on your arm? Tain't easy. [4]
