When you are in Order HQ with Juni and King, you are offered a choice of taking a mission or declining and coming back later.

You should be able to decline, do the Lost Fleet story, and then eventually return to Order HQ where--unless you are very unlucky--when you walk into the bar you should have Juni and King reappear and offer you the choice again. Accepting of course allows you to continue with the campaign.

I recommend keeping a save from a bit earlier than that, just in case. for whatever reason the first time I returned from my little side voyage, my old friends didn't reappear, so I had to redo from an earlier save. It worked fine the next time.

Thanks BF. Now mention where it and how it is, I'm reminded. My job will be to get to Order HQ flying something descent. I wonder if Ilynin had thought about doing one of his "super saves" for Order HQ?

I must pay attention more to this thread and other threads like it, one other just stated here. And I think Martind Forlon's also got a lot more stuff. Fictional history written for FL and CF adds huge colour to both sims. Something I'd like to become more familiar with. Is there a sequential, bibliographical list anywhere so I can start my history lessons? Thanks.

(Something to read on that plane trip when the battery runs out ….. ;))

FL original campaign->CF campaign; Lost Fleet takes part in the middle of CF campaign. You just have to pick one option to trigger Lost Fleet missions, it's linear otherwise.

    Gee! That was quick!

…….. is it as simple as that!

My poor memory tells me I started Lost Fleet (LF) after I'd completed Crossfire (CF). Simply because LF wasn't released until after I'd finished. I think I had to start CF again just so as to fit LF in. Hence I flew LF in the original CF craft which was a bit short on in goodies. That why Iliyan's thread here sounds so attractive.

Hence, is there an optimum point to join Lost Fleet?

In regard to FL, CF original, CF campaign, Lost Fleet is it? etc.

Could somebody put me right about correct sequence of play for all the options. From go to wo. My memory is just too bad to remember. Thanks.

[I have the disk for FL, all the rest has been downloaded]

Are you two reading my mind? I was going to propose the name "Scharnhorst" or "Gneisenau" to that wreck.

My solution, probably the least justifiable, was to save time and the number of changes required. However, if a change can be made that better fits history, then I'm all for it even if it requires more work. However, as I said previously: "Martind is far more experience in these matters than me (he's a Super Moderator), so it will be up to him as to what happens".

Maybe you communicate with him Ajay? I'm sure the input would be appreciated.

I'm not sure if it's Martind or Wombat (or both?) who would be concerned, but in some recent exploring I noticed that one of the wrecks has been renamed, and the renaming is not yet reflected in the Lexicon. The change is to a more Rhineland-appropriate ship name, from this one:

Please note that I'm not complaining; I'm attempting in my small way to be helpful. :)

I've recommended to Martind to update the name "Scharnhorst" to "Isomoto" wherever it occurs. However, Martind is far more experience in these matters (he's a Super Moderator), so it will be up to him as to what happens. But whatever, thanks for the in put, and I will notify you immediately something is done. :salutes

No, no ….. fully understand. Any input (even criticism) is appreciated. Not to say we will change anything, but we will certainly listen. ;)

    Checking further …...

I relied on actual locations I found on line which turned out to be incorrect.

I would be interested to viewing this incorrect on-line advice.

I've got a voluntary map making role here at CF2.0, producing the latest System Maps for inclusion at our WIKI Site. Hopefully that's not where you found the inaccuracies. ;)

I have read about several prisons locations including for example BPA and it is not there. In fact the surrounding mine field is not there.

Which System are you in? If its Manchester then its BPA Newgate

Here as shown on the System Map in WIKI:

Here it is as seen in the game map:

Here is what it looks like, with mines clearly in view:

Happy Birthday to your wife and sister. ;)

    Akemshite omedeto gozaimasu! Japanese?

Sing ken ken. No problem in Balinese. :)

*shrug* nothing special, but I'm not a party man so it's a-OK.

Nor am I normally. But this year, I did finish up on the beach in Kuta with 1000's of Muslims and of course no alcohol and had a great time. Mind you, I was home by 12.30am. ;)
