if will be one more pirate clan - thats will be cool. Now police are die on server hehe...only PX,but they not a police, some times can make more stability in game. Dont see the real police control in game...only smugg and pirate.

think will be better if upgrade will be cost in geometrical progression. Like this.
1st level armor cost - 50 000
2nd - 100 000
3rd - 200 000
4 - 400 000
5 - 1 000 000
6 - 2 000 000
7 - 4 000 000
8 - 8 000 000
9 - 16 000 000
10 - 32 000 000 (9 and 10 level most be used on a BS and if player use BS why he pay not so many for armor 10 lvl...for fighter this is not important 7 or 10 lvl...but for BS - very important)
in this scheme do the other upgrades,like the upgrade for shield and generator upgrade.
+/- 1 mil not so very important...and all takes offcourse 10 lvl...2 - 3 nobody use...and weapons (guns) all i thinks must cost 2 or 3 times more.

When in game outcast have sabre,ship corsairs - titan...but we can go much further to do color or image choice. and when clan or house will have their own gun, ships, color of clan ship..and other. think about it..more interesting...

hmmm...i propose idea to do for ships(if this possible) some color choice - i have an answer on this,that this is not will provide because this is not NFS,this is freelancer..now we talking about this much longer. And as we see that is more important for player, not only have different ship...people want to do him looks cool.
If server will provide this option, server will not fall from this option,but people who will have this ships with some cool color or type of design image on ship, will not go to other server where other ships have only 1 type of color or image on ship. -
I thinks will be great idea to do some ships shiny white color...but only few ships,who have no logo of house (not for Coalition,not for Bretonia or other houses)because they already have house color of ship,do this color for bounty hunters ship or for other version of ships who free of logo house - do shiny white version. or for some new or best cap ships.Do they like flagman ship...other gray color and the best ship do white color.
everyone want be different...not only ship,but color too. imagine that you buy the car and you have only pink color for this car...but you want black or white..And in all city this car only pink color...i think people want not so many types of ship,they want more types of color some ship.

"Sounds like you're trying to apply Disco RP" - i never was on discovery server,but i very like original freelancer game for ways,story and great idea. Becouse there is different ways when playercan choose to be a pirate,police,trader or others..i only want that in game still left the roleplay like the basis and different (specific) game by role...but when poor nation of pirate, build valuable BS and do not have real arena to fight on this ship by their story (asteroids,mines,radiation) - this is break all story and common sense...
how you want do the roleplay server if there is no basis for role game. 1st factor of roleplay was - reputation of player,in CF - reputation died...
i realy hope that in 1.9 (still left some time) will be change this error.
maybe this is unpleasant critics,but i hope that this is will bebalanced with real good idea.
like as i speak with old players who say that most people go away from server when was provide limit cargo for train. This rule kill all play,like result many players left this mod. but it could be done differently. left for train 5000 cargo and do him with 20 000 armor and give him turels of 6 lvl...and in 1 moment this train need cover from other ship(stimulate roleplay)
and smugg all move to pirate base where train cant dock,only freighter. -

2 Arrow - Tripoli shipyards,as i remember, does not have place and powerfull to build big ships... and this base is placed in metal scrap field. this is not comfortabl run on a BS in some asteroid or metal scrap field... i think for corsairs can be more real add the bombers. If corsairs (by the story game) want to attack rheinland and bretonia houses (and kill red hessians) - they must have in their fleet bombers,becouse they do not have base and support for BS (repair base with moor or fuel mining for big resourse of this ships)...but if they will be have bombers - they will be more maneuverable in fight,more powerfull...and bombers can dock with any corsair base for recharge. this will be balance game and take some MORE real story line.
2 OP - please do that cap ships can dock only with moor. becouse that looks absurdly when big BS dock with pirate base and transport with 700 cargo cant dock there =(
p.s. i think in first freelancer was a good idea give Dromoder for outcasts and their allies - becouse they are the biggest smugg band in sirius,who selling cardamine...now biggest cargo have red hessians.I have question: for what they have so big freighter??? is their target to sell some goods? as i remember - they are fighters,not a smugg traders like outcasts or junkers. i think will be great idea give for outcasts or their allies some big transport for smugg trade,like in story line.

and in game - corsairs are ace of fights...i think for they must be some good fighter in selling. heh... they very poor..thats why they fight on fighters,and have no BS...BS - cost very many money,but corsairs poor nation and flight only on VHF...BS - privilege of big houses and who have many money. And way to corsairs house - are very hard for BS...radiation,asteroids...like fight Rheinland with GMG.and this is not fair give many ship to all sirius, and no one for coalition! only fighters...
our clan increasing day by day...now in clan some above 14 members...and only fighters use...
in future,when our clan will be finally formed,we try to register him official.BS of Rheinland and Bretonia looks funny xD
P.S. i sow the picture of Coalition ship "Varyag" and "Zenith".as i understand this is was demo, but this is not implemented?

it does not matter need for speed or not not need for speed. I think is there only 3 ways:
1.The idea is not realizable
2.The idea is good
3.The idea is bad.
I think(if that can provide) this is can stimulate players to take official clans and systems. And a game will be more role...Question for OP:
is in 1.9 will be change some thin like: that that Corsairs NOT have wyrm,and flying on not their ships(or give for them and only for them 2 - 3 ships)...and police have wyrm...will it provide more categorical? that every fraction will be have only their weapons and ships...now can not tell where is corsairs and where is outcasts...they have nothing really no different. =\

like the clan can choose the color or image of ship...is he will be black...or red...or black in white stripe. Not only standart color. or like option for clan or their ships.

Information about CCCP clan:
CCCP - is on english USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) - there is only russian-speaking players in clan.
1.Affil and Rep - we are under Coalition`s affilation and have only(!!!) green coalition in reputation.
2.We like the Coaltion - are military clan with Coalition ships and Coalition guns. maybe in future will be have police licence ( but now we not sure do we need they, if we already have reputation)
3.Enemies - our enemies are Dom`Kavash, Nomads, Coalition rouges (in future will be smugglers of Altair space and pirate of Altair space)
4.Base - now we based at Gorlowka carrier at Sovetskaya system.
5.All Sirius are neutral for us and other clans, freelancers too. As they need some help - we can help. But we dont need now ally clan. We try to be in character of roleplay and be alone.
6.Our target - not to creat best PvP freelnacers (it's too boring), we try to play cooperate game. And now we have young fleet - Reliant BS and coalition fighters (support),some money for 1.9 to upgrade him (fleet) and we are working on technology cooperation in fight. Now only in Hieron and Lemnos we try to fight with DK for our future colony ^^...and seems it obtained =)
7.We create our garrison for future events. (we try to provide it) Fleet vs Fleet for a some system control or for a pleasure =) (Like CSF/ASF)
8.In our clan many old players...not only new...
9.Why we do not have system and not official? - there is no reason (now) to have system now. If in game will (in future) provide the colonisation game play and fight for the system or will correct the reputation like in original freelancer - we wiil take them,but now pirate with affil of navy - kill all gameplay...and when pirate use JG - there is too much for him...pirate must use JH and run not in trade lines, he must run in black ways(asteroids field and others)...if this change will be provide - we will take them, but now there is no reason.
P.S. and this will be great that the best weapons can buy people who have this house or organisation in best rp(affil). like if you want to buy 10 lvl coalition gatlings - you must be with coalition affil and work only for them. There is stimulate roleplay like outcasts have their weapons and ships, and corsair have salamanka and titan ship...thanks

1.make them more resistant...now they like the styrofoam...too light...each little stone makes them to jump(perk up)...this is too hard some times (like in the corridor system) =\
2.correct information about BS weapons..now in game was write that coalition turels are have more damage than rheinland but in test with BS - rheinland more powerful than coalition.Rheinland turels powerfull more than 3 times than coalition. We check it.
3. Docking. not real %) for reliant dock with Jupiter-Earth TL - cant.prevents shield.
4. Reliant BS can be stopped from wasp(!) from corsairs 3 lvl,nomads or others. But others ships (like Rheinland - they cant)if this possible,please take this into consideration

Dont forget about Coalition licence ^^... because coalition is not full and independent system and that is bad. only do missions,buy fighter and back to sirus. No moors (if Coalition has army - they must have big transport for support big house in tactical efficiency, not only little Goliath =\) and Coalition is not police - they military. I thinks the best idea to do licenses pirate(1st) + faction of this pirate(2nd) (Corsairs or hessians),smuggler(1st) + fraction of smugglers(2nd), military(1st) + faction of military(liberty or bretonia). 1st license will chose his direction to other bases, second - his reputation in game. And about trains and pirate...where can dock the pirate on train at pirate base?...and how pirate can run on train in asteroid field? Block for pirate buying the train...but give for them and one of the best freighter in system to sell. With 350 - 450 cargohold...and maybe 2 thrusters. In this game was disappeared distinct boundary with pirates and police...pirate can travel on trade lines,use jump gate and dock with civilian planets(thats not interesting)...if he have pirate license - he must use JH and run in dark places (because hi is an pirate). and civilian JG and trade lines must be closed for him. Give to pirate and smugglers base smuggled goods...if they will be use ships with 400-500 cargohold - they will be have good money.And for traders,police,military and other civilian - give clear goods. like the diamonds and food rations - they will be have less profit but they have choice to use big transport and tradelines.and they will be need cover from police and mercenary - that will be good stimulate to do deal. if some body go on train with 5000 diamonds from rheinland to kusary - he will be ask, for money, give him some cover in this way.Thats will be do the karavan trading.
about economics...maybe do dynamic economics but only left freelancer story. If in dublin we can buy gold today, we can buy gold tomorrow...but! today gold cost 100 k and tomorrow will be cost 400...and in kusary(planets and stations) will be be buy gold today above 2000k,tomorrow they will be buy only for 1000 k. thats is the good dynamics economics.
today Dublin buy 5000 units for 100 k ------ sell in New Tokio for 2000 k....+ 1900k for 1 unit of cargo

From BS of bretonia we buy the BP - sell near on base in gold asteroid field. way - 2 min. + 7000 for 1 unit of BluePrints. No one do the big way...and thats because there is no real roleplay...In this game there is peace -

there is not what it was incorporated as a basis for game...to be a pirate, or to be a police man or mercenary or be the captain of fleet some house....only fighters...fighters..fighters...if it continues in this style mod will be die...because the cruiser cant kill the fighter - there is nonsense. and have only 1 (best type of weapon). look to the 1.0 FL - all ships have many weapons with the some fraction type...now we have only 4 weapon on cruiser or BS.
