BS

were used on the Assault Event cause miner were not available at the time the Assault Event

restarted. BS were not good cause it was easy to kill them. You just keep you distance from

them of 1500 m and they can reach you with their guns. About docking issue, they just dock

fine on planet with mooring fixture on this last CF version.

About an Event with BS,

it could be a demolition derbie with only BS participation. So people who still got them

would have them for a good use. What do you think?'

something, I forgot how good was to play with a joystick. Eventhough I couldnt make to the

game room cause a misinterpretation on my side, I started to play the campaign just now. Oh,

and it feel so good to be back with a JOYSTICK i dont why I stop playing sim joystick game

the first place...

As I stated in Lancerreactors, Microsoft once upon a time started to try to TAKE

OVER the game industry and all we got was the LEFT OVER. The creation of Space Sim Game

Era is almost over due to the fact that just few companies still developing this kind of

game. Even the joystick oriented space sim games are not the way they use to be. I guess is

UP to US to make it happen with the creations of mods and so on the existing space sim games

out there. One think is for sure, I still see people try to develop good space sim games out

there on their own (without the companies big budget) I say to them hang in there and thanks

for all the hard work done to keep things moving along.

We still have our community

that is getting strong everyday by the commitment of few players so I thank them for their

efforts. We still need to help and get more involve in our own CF community. CF and OP has

given us a place so lets help him to continue.

Another week has passing by and new players got

into the assault event on 03/12/2005. However, due to some technical problem/issues, it WONT

be a REPORT on the last Assault Event. So, the short version of the outcome from last

Assault Event is that Team 2 has won the event this weekend. I want to congratulate both

team players because of their participation despite the circunstances on this

competition.

darkstalker, the demo was nothing compare to SL actual

game. However, I can no express anything about online cause I dont have any experience to

play that game online.
For sure you will need a Joystick, nothing fancy, but a good

joystick

I use to have paypal when I played JUmpGate

long time ago. Either way, to do the real job of getting and tranfer the money, they always

ask you for your credit card to check or verify the account. Otherwise, your options are

limited. As for the password I never let window to use the reminder option. I just dont

trust windows behavior neither firefox in these cases. I rather rely on my own mind

However, my question was oriented to anyone experience on security reason not to

get paypal cause what I read in the internet is pretty scary sometimes. Plus I want to know

if anyone is use to the process to get money into your paypal account so you could use that

money later in the internet.

Everytime

Ive been on the server worked fine for 30-40min since last version. Usually there are like

12 to 14 people when I play cause I get on late night (due to timezone) and middle morning

before I go to work. However the lagg behavior is strange cause after ive been like 30-40

min appears a heavy red lagg for like 3-4 min and then gone for another 30-40 min. Just this

morning, it happened again. I was doing some trading and talking at the same time with

stoned-raider and after 30-40 min, a heavy red lagg went on for 3 or 4 min and then

dissappeared. I asked stoned-raider if the same thing happen to him at the same time and he

said yes but it was gone. After playing another 20 min, no lag (just some yellow) and then

I wen to work. The other night, there like 26 players on and the same thing happened, 30-40

min with minimun lag (some yellow, little red) then a heavy laggs came on for 3-4 min and

gone. One thing to notice is that in either case no server reboot were implemented except

for one time when I was with Darkstalker in omega sytem doing mission. That day was

impossible but after the reboot it was ok for another 40 min.

I m not online too much

on week days but so far that is my own experience on this

issue.

I will undust my original SL cds (2) and get my

Joystick back from the box if there were any online place to play. But I will need a lot of

practice cause it is being a while since I use a Joystick (however, I think is like the

bicycle, when you learn to ride on it you will never forget [10] )

I dont know if this is the place to post this but I need some advice. A friend

of mine who move to live in the USA own some money to me becuase Ive been helping him here

with some money problems with his family. He needs to tranfer monthly payments to me. WHen

he transfer the money from USA to Venezuela I get my local currency which are Bolivares

instead of Dollars. Due to my country currency exchange policy, it is really difficult to

get dollars up to ceratin amount. So I want to keep the dollars my friend send instead of

exchanging by transfer. Therefore I could use that money to buy stuff in the internet plus

other thing outside my country such starting my clan and get my clan system [10]

Anyway, lets go to the point. How safe is paypal to get an account where I can

transfer the money there so I coud use it in the internet??? Ive been reading about paypal

for a while and some scary stories came up. The other option is to open an account in the

states but I dont like the idea...

I

used to use Thrustmaster stick and then the Hotas combo for my flying sim age and it was

really difficult to master all the 26 prog. buttons for both device. Freaking nuts but in

time was much better than using the the Joystick & keyboard Im nostalgic

now...where do the old joystick days went to?? Well, after I practically destroy that combo

(really difficult task to achieve), it was too much to pay for me so I bought a humble 3d

Cyborg Joystick which has been with me since my middle JumpGate days (I take it easy on it

now)

By the way, I never played mp for starlancer, is it any mp sl community still

alive outhere???

No way, your ping 30-40---what could I say about myself where my

normal ping on any server I see at global server is from 190 to 300:::::(

Im having same problem to download the mod but Im been

having this prob for a while since 2 days...plus when I got home from work yesterday my

server connection was down until today afternoon. Im just try to redownload the mod. It

seems the problem for downloading is the new beta version for firefox I may have to go

back to old one or explorer.

Well, I want to congratulate cause CF (from what I check

in the global server ) is being one of more crowded server in FL community. The mod seems

great from what I tried with 2nd download yesterday. I just erased my last download and I

hope I finish this last download without any problem

PS: For CF

database, why dont you designate a project leader and that person should take care to

assembly a team to develop the CF database. I think Blade could be a project leader. He

offered his service because his has experience on it and I could be part of the team by I

need someone to assignment small tasks cause my exp is beg-int
