Banned Again

I am sorry but I have been banned once more. This time the program crashed whilst I was in Outer Dyson Sphere. I tried to log on again but was advised my account was already in use. So I waited for 2 minutes and successfully logged on. Having checked everything was OK, I then left the server. This morning I tried to log on, only to find I had been banned again. I am having trouble with the shader which tells me i do not have the latest version, despite the fact that I have down loaded it. I did try manually installing the dll file but it made no difference. Could this be the reason for the ban?

    I have unbanned the account but maybe you need to check your install.

  • I have set the shader options to vanilla fl. This has stopped the error messages. I will see how this goes and hope I don't get another ban. If it does I will do a complete reinstall. Thank you for your help.

  • Good morning and a happy New Year to you. My installation continued to cause problems but fortunately I was not banned. My installation is many years old and has had very many updates, so not wishing to get another ban, I did a complete reinstall and this resolved the Shader errors.


    However, one of the loading screens advised that I was using version 6.5.1 and to visit Reshade and get version 6.6.2. I did this but when I tried to update the version the app advised that dvgi.dll already exists but does not belong to Reshade.


    I am still experiencing program crashes but this so far has not resulted in a ban. A possibility is that anti virus may be interfering with connectivity, but in any event it is not a problem unless of course I get banned again. I do not wish to use any more of your valuable time, but just wished to update you. Thanks for your help.

  • I afraid it has happened again. This time I was killed by NPCs the screen froze and I was unable to exit the program. I manage to close the program from the task bar but when i tried to log on again I found I was banned. I don't know what else I can do. I have a completely clean version but still I am getting banned. I definitely have not tampered in anyway with any of the files. All changes to the files have been made by the launcher. Also when you reinstate my character everything is fine again, so the files must be the same as when I was banned. It appears to revolve around leaving the server as a result of a program crash it is at this point I must be getting banned.
