Crossfire mod problem

    I couldnt find any tech problems forum so i post this in the off topic one...


    I just instal the last crossfire mod in a new fresh FL instalation. Everything runs ok but when i enter in the server and i go to the space, the game jumps to desktop and after 15 secs, windows says that there has been a problem and it has to close.


    Any word to help on this please?

    i would suggest a clean install, deleting all saved game data and screenshots. search your pc for any files containing freelancer/crossfire files and delete. fresh download of FLMM 1.31 and Crossfire, and reinstall. deactivate 3D sound in options before playing online.

    13. after you updated your game, go to internet
    14. wait until you see "DONE" in the launcher. DONT QUIT IT before it says so,


    or yu will screw up your game, mod and everything
    15. after the launcher says "Done" ---->


    16. play the game

    INTERNET, wait until your game patches itself and then try to play the game ...

    Ok im going to try all of that.
    I have the original game and a copy from the net, i tried with the original one, i will try maybe with the copy instead...but first im going to turn off the 3D sound.

    1.why does it say 'reinstall the DAMN computer' ?


    2.REINSTALL or RESTART the computer?(this one would also be for the 'A or B? teh funn0r' thread ^^)
