i wont waste much time with the "why's"... its simply not important for the future of this project
BU has a good base and i hate to give up something
the main concept should stay as it is but for sure there is the need to extend it to raise the depth of its gameplay
as long LR is down due to technical problems ive no other choice to ask bp to upload the latest version to an alternative server (if this is possible)
then ill be able to have a look at the mod
what is needed?
modders, shipwriters, texturers, ppl that are able to create a story around the mod to make it interesting
and a server (but i expect that we would get a server anyways if the mod is good enough to be released)
originally i wanted to spend the weeks after the CF update to finish "Starlancer: The Sol war" but that has to wait (depending on how much time i have and how much help i will get with BU)
