CARGO PODS?

    Hi, this may be a stupid question, but nobody I asked in game seemed to know the answer..


    I have just bought a Train, and I need to know what are the benifits to buying the Cargo Pods?..


    There are differerent ones which leads me to believe you can transfere that named commoditty in it?//I think?


    ie..A cobalt named cargo pod..is that for transfereing Cobalt?


    With no cargo pods I can still carry, 5000 of any cargo I choose..


    With for eg..the cobalt cargopods mounted, I can still only carry 5000 cargo..even of cobalt..



    are they just eye candy for the trader who needs his train to look realistic?

    If you check the specs on them, they provide additional armor . They are there to protect the cargo, better than if you were just shipping them without the cargo pods.

    you can sell them, yes
    but i dont think they give armor. The details are:


    Shield Capacity 0
    Regeneration Rate 0
    Regen power Drain 0
