why is my crossfire launcher downloading a ton of other stuff?

and WOOP TE DO Crossfire Update Not Found ....Only Singleplayer available.......

Well i gess there apart of the update

1) the patch is the one I already had and it still doesn't help

2) we've got quite the fast-responce thread going here

3) I'm going to round-house kick the server someday for making me miss time that could have been spent with Lash

yea it is exactly the same patch for me, who has swats number.... CALL HIM!!!! or something

Nah, don't call OP. It'll be fixed when it's fixed. The fact that we're making such a long thread is testament to our impatience. I'm not going to complain until tomorrow if it's still not working. Otherwise I'm just having fun and laughing at the tech difficulties

I downloaded and installed the patch, started the launcher, it downloaded lots of update files, but doesnt start MP...
