    Can you confirm that you downloaded Crossfire v2.0.1 from one of the official locations - SWAT Portal or ModDB - and that you already have vanilla FL installed in your system ?

    I uninstalled crossfire 1.9, restored the fflm to a no mods setting, had to suspend my anti virus program to get the crossfire 2.01 setup to start. I'll next try to re install vanilla FL.

    CF1.9 is outdated since ~5 years meanwhile


    You also do not need to suspend your AV program.

    In worst case it does a short scan of the temporary files and then will continue the CF 2.0.1 installation if you let it do its job.

    okay, another sort of problem: when I play without it playing window mode, It won't work; and this what the log reads:

    and when I play in window mode; the bottom of the screen doesn't show. How do I change the window size?

    have you tried to switch to the vanillaFL shader option on the launcher?
