Mirrored drives are duplicates. Either one should be usable without the other. If you rebuild the boot dive and then add the Cf (D:) drive to the system, it should all be there including settings. My experience with this is MS Windows OS. It might save some time.

Edit: Keep the data drive safely offline while you reinstall the boot OS.

Like stated by the server host. The raid failed in this case. Not much there to mount back.
However, I meanwhile reinstalled the OS and the drive with the CF data has been mounted via USB. Currently I am moving all that data to the new server environment and probably later this afternoon/evening I can try to get CF running again.

Mind me asking are you keep server data at home and only pay domain host? Or you doing the all thing online remotelly? im a bit confused with all that IT things
Im only askin cos im trying to that thing for my son and his friends to make server to use for minecraft and other online games to play privately like on LAN parties.

I believe that this will not happen, it was just a suggestion from one member just to make the server work, as far as I understand there is a complete backup or at least not older than 6 months. These are my assumptions based on the previous posts, it remains for the OP to explain if something was lost, but I think he will try everything to return to the old way.

Have you looked into a cloud computing service like "Linode"? They can assign you a virtual server so you never have to worry about hardware. I know their smallest node has 1GB ram, 1cpu, 25GB storage and 40/1 GB network for $5 US/per month. They support enterprise systems so maybe they would do daily backups by default. I am just suggesting this as an option to explore. I don't use the cloud myself.
I have multiple servers at a homelab so if one goes down, the data and the service can be brought up on another system. I don't use raid because I have been burned thinking the data was safer than it was (boot/OS drive failure loses the raid config for one). I use "Proxmox" to create virtual servers and "Docker" for simple apps. One app is "TrueNAS" which is for my backups and shared files. I have 2 of them (TrueNAS running on Proxmox) and sync the data. (Proxmox and TrueNAS are open source and free for non-commercial use.)
I used to be in IT. I supported a site with 2 call centers and about 500 local users. Phones were using an Avaya PBX. Network was with Cisco hardware.
Now I fight a neverending war with megacorps to defend my privacy by blocking outgoing traffic from THEIR malware. "MacroHard" is my top nemesis.

Small update on the situation.
The server in theory is functional again. I am still testing stuff and try to get the automatic scripts running (maintenance, dynamic market, backups, etc).
I did a few structural changes and in theory optimized the daily maintenance, but in the end we will see if that works as intended tomorrow. The server will have a password until I am sure that everything worked fine.
IF so then its only trying to figure out why the anticheat is giving false warnings.
-
I don't even know what that is let alone use it. Please explain it to me. Sorry if im noob. I saw that there were problems with the hood, but it didn't bother me and I didn't want to report it.
Btw its not that big after almost 6000 files that i did yesterdayIm joking
CFUIChanger is located in the Freelancer main folder.
You can simply run it to change between the different UI options without using the installer (same options).
The tool mainly exists for me to patch UI elements (bug fixes and improvements) via the launcher. This is more or less a workaround since the launcher is not able to recognize which installer options were used (an oversight when designing the installer back then).

Thank you very much, I appreciate that you answered me clearly

Something is different when I start the update, it gets to 36 out of 69 and starts the game, now the SP works normally, but it was working normally before the update, does this mean that the update goes through the server to the launcher, if so, it means that the server is still not working or the updates have to be uploaded again.
-
no, not related to the CF server
The update server runs separately. However, seems to be a new issue, that I just fixed.
-
The server is online and open again.
The anticheat issue remains. Ill just unban everyone until a solution is found.
-
great news will just have to hope for the best for now fingers crossed
