Its not so good to see on the screenshot.
But the Laser - Shots looks different at the beginning, after the middle it looks normal.
Possible to fix that?

best explanation i can come up with is that FL switches the lod at a certain distance and that causes this texture change

The Projectiles are shown smaller because of the Distance? Makes sense
