possible prob in Altair

    well this morning i was lucky enoth to get online and go to Altair :)


    when i was in Sovetskaya i tried to dock at Boridin space station.


    first thing i noticed was that on the solars its showing as a planet and not a station.


    when i got to it bout 4k out i clicked on dock. it said "destination to far" so i clicked on "goto" but i went another 1/2 k and stoped.


    tried to dock and got the same thing.


    i thought this might be a station that you carnt dock at so i checked the DB and found that the station sells the Kamov.


    also the DK are dock raping so all be carfull :)

    @ Carbine - I think it shows as a planet because of it's sheer size, this was the same way in previous versions of the mod. Its size also accounts for the reason 4K is too far for docking; the distance shown is distance to the object perimeter, an effect also seen at Delta Outpost in Nephele. Just go to free flight, and point at the station, it will stop you when you are close enough to dock. No bugs here, just big objects...

    its a planet because stations cant handle docking rings very well
    the docking rings are working but usually there are problems with distances and path creation


    the 4k you mention... well its 4k from the docking ring not 4k from the station
