and what about those players who had been banned in CF 1.6 for "crashing the server"??? are they still banned or......cuz im one of them (i had some firewall problems, but now its fixed)....

Why is it that the download is taking so long? Is it the number of people trying at once? My time remaining is 4hrs when it usually only takes 40 minutes. Any explanation would be appreciated. It would be great if I could start before this afternoon...

but i download it few minutes ago (again couse before i download again 1.6 couse use wrong link in my reget)
and was max posibility of my connection (like always ^^)
so maybe u got something or just this serv dont like u ^**^

Could someone try sending 1.61 as an attachment to an E-mail? I think it would take less time that way...lol. I just closed the download and started it up again. The download speed ran at 100 KB/sec for about five seconds, and then speed dropped to 8.1. At this rate now it will be 6 hours.

My download speed is down to 3 KB/sec (5% of norm), and at this speed the second half of the download will take just over 9 hours. Innovative solutions anyone, or should I just shut up and come back tomorrow?

My download was 74% complete when my internet cut out. I'm having to start the download over again. The present time calculation is 14hrs. Somebody please help me.

Edit: This is really weird; the problem suddenly resolved for seemingly no reason. One second the download is putting along, and then suddenly it jumps back to the normal 60's range and stays there. Maybe all it needed was a responce from OP. lol

as soon they upload and post the news you could download it from there

Will we have to input old Freelancer Multiplayer ID again or can we just connect to the server and pick up where we left off?
And the related question is, do we get to keep our existing 1.6 characters, or will there be another wipe? (YIKES)

What email address did you use for submitting to LR?

If you used bp@lancersreactor.com it may take some time for it to be ready (I sent in a file half the size of CF and after 4 days nothing has happened) but more likely is they don't like me

bp is not active on LR atm... private stuff... would be good not to bother him too much

I began my new pirate life in 1.61 but actually I cannot leave NY (passing the system gates I mean, the hidden one too) without avoiding my PC to crash. Install instruction followed. SDK installed after I had the first crash but it did not helped. I respawned 150K the first time out of Houston, the second time out of Manhattan (I had to try again...).
No problem when entering Bering by the way but hope to try other gates tonight...
