What are you listening to right now?

  • Well, and this was what I listened to when I returned from my graduation in school.

Like, I didn't even stay for the party. I just ditched that place without looking back.

Pity I didn't know about Funker Vogt back then, 'cos otherwise I'd know the words I should have said about that: "Thanks for nothing, thanks for nothing, thanks for nothing, thanks for nothing."

"Across the savage skies and through the fissures in the fields,
The rumble of the engines and the trundle of the wheels,
Through hell and horror trudge and yet their spirits never yield.
Will they sing of these forsaken pawns of war?"
-Miracle Of Sound, "Pawns of War".

  • Eh, it's less about parties getting sick. I just wanted nothing to do with people in general.

  • Yeah, I wasn't talking about those kind of parties (the dirty ones). You can still have some great fun with a bunch of friends hanging out with pretty girls, go to the disco for a drink (NOT getting drunk), listen to some awesome loud music, dance and just have a great time.

    HIT THE DANCE FLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR.....

Anyway, gtg though... be back like, tonight ^^ , maybe. Take care man.

You seem to have forgotten who you are talking to...

But if seriously? I actually tried. I actually did stay a bit longer for the Master Courses graduation party. Even went to the restaraunt with the guys and gals. For once, I couldn't say that I hated them and/or didn't give a flak about them. Everone else had fun, I didn't. On the contrary, I was bored out of my skull. So I just headed home and spent the rest of the day in WoWS. Had some regrets that I didn't stay for longer, and even more regrets that I even went there in the first place.

Not to mention that if my idea of having a good time includes music, it'd be not something most people like. My tastes in music are... metallic. And electric. Most people don't like that music, and I won't ever be able to understand why. I'd understand if they don't like the lyrics (but most people I personally know wouldn't even understand them), and this is not as heavy as metal in general can get.

(That was actually what I had in my earphones on my way back to the "extraction point".)

  • Have you ever wondered why? Well, that's the reason -> because you listen to dark music, it effects you since music is very powerful and it penetrates your soul.

    This Documentary explains it perfectly:

    (Playlist)

Just as you've heard "You are what you eat", it's the same as "You are what you're listening to".

Forget that I'm not posting a song right now, tonight or tomorrow when I get back, but if you want to know why you feel the way you're feeling -> watch the Documentary.

PS: Not all people get affected the same though, but some people can get very affected by listening to such music... or any other for that matter.

Take care dude and stay safe.

  • If I am what I am listening to... then I can rest knowing I've made a right choice. For I'd rather be affected by this than by something that tries to manipulate me into something I have long since washed hands on. Or something that only teases me with something I can never hope to have, therefore just making me miserable.

The first Sabaton songs I have ever heard were The Art of War and Uprising. But this one got me hooked. For obvious reasons.

Though speaking of dark music, if you'd actually gave Disturbed a good listening binge and paid good attention to the lyrics, you'd find that they sing about a lot of stuff you preach. Though some of their songs support my opinion as well (such as "Divide" and "Criminal")... unless they are sung from a "Villain Protagonist" PoV.

Well... life is all about making decisions.

I didn't say that every 'dark music' group has only such types of songs, but what their general music is about and that by the way, also changes their lifestyle. And where and when did I ever preach? Sharing something from Scripture doesn't make it preaching, preaching becomes only when you constantly push a message forward (no matter what that message might be) towards an audience.

    Anyway:
