Yep, I saw that one two last night. Pretty odd. But it could be another CF server. After all, as far as I know the mod is distributed freely... Anyone could host it. But yeah its locked by a password, so maybe that has a purpose [687]

Mmmm... dont look good. I'm pretty sure that crossfire is not freely distributed as server side, but only as client !

I think Op will investigate further...

if its a CF server then it will be down soon and the owner will be in trouble

The "CLIENT" side of the mod is distributed, not the server files.

Erm, have you ever heard of "Reverse Engineering"?

I think that is what they did if the mod they are running is the CF mod.

no matter what they did it is not allowed to run a CF server without permission coz this would violate copyright law

What doesnt seem right to me is the server description.
