Power Gen MK5 and the Chimera

Is it worth it getting the Power gen Mk5 on the Chimera? Looking at the wiki page for the Power generator it says "Note: some ships have original reactor with bigger capacity." Since the default power for ships is not listed I was wondering if it was worth getting

Yes,it is.I have got a Chimera and after I bought the PG Mk.V it's better

I suppose "some ships" in question are Battleships, Cruisers, etc. I use PGV for all my VHFs I'm not planning to replace.

Some ships also might mean the GR ships. On a Chimera the power gen is needed Class 10 guns run out of energy fast without it. I have 2 chimeras and both have them. I think all VHF's that are available to most players need the power gen Just make sure you get the best one available.
