I have done exactly as you suggested:

I have un installed 1.54

within flmm
I have confirmed that not old files are in my flmm folder
I have removed

all saved games from my \Documents\My Games\Freelancer\Accts\Singleplayer folder
I

have downloaded ne copies of 1.53 and the 1.54 upgrade
I have installed same.

It

might be helpful if people did a quick post saying "I have a clean install". So that we can

see progress.

I try to log on but I

never get a ping. I tried just a minute ago, and a few hours ago also. I have version 1.54

(never updated to 1.55). Why would it do that to me? Is the server rebooting that often?

Very smooth over if I incurred some restart but I NEVER download

1.55

This message is for the admin. I just noticied that

the message of the server (when you select from the list in freelancer), asks people to

install 1.55 to play in the server. Is it possible to change it so it asks people that had

1.55 installed at any point, to remove the game completely and do a clean reinstall (after

they save their account ID that is)? Also you could add on the server name a small message

like: read note before entering, or check this forum for info and etc.
Just an idea.

Awesome mod btw. Love it. Wish people read these forums more often, we would not have as

many problems in situations like these :)...

One bad apple spoils all good apple. You just need

1 person with corrupted files to crash the server. So, if some people already fix the

problem and get in, play for a little while then the server crashes, please dont think is

you. It could be someone that got in after you and crashed the server. Also, the server wont

crash instantaneously until the corrupted file kick in so it is a really hard task to find

out. I just leave up to trust. If you did every thing was said to fix the problem, it is not

your fault. But for the people or person spoiling everyone else game you will be found

sooner or later.

how often to i need to repeat it?

the version number on the

servernews and on the server page are totally unimportant to you

instead of

wasting my time to edit everything so it shows the correct number i will use it to fix the

problem
so i suggest you let me do my work

Hey Pipl, I just deleted EVERYTHIG from my PC, what had

something to do with Freelancer, Crossfire or not. Even the Setup file of Mod Manager. At

the moment Im reinstalling the Game, then the other things.
If Ive done it, I will try

to log in, is there some way to find out if Ive crashed the server?

Ok Ive done it, but I cant connect, maybe the server is shot down coz of those many

crashes.
So I will wait.
Please OP, post it here, if the server is back again without

these Problems.

im working on the last 800 lines of code this afternoon
after that i will bring back

the server with the new version for 5 beta testers in the evening

if everything is

running ok the server will be reopened this evening/night

its open now ???
