"Alternate" Ending?

    So I have beaten the story, and gotten an/the ending (no spoilers). However, I noticed in the 2.0 update thread, there was this line:


    "(In other words) the Crossfire 2.0 storyline has more than just one ending."


    I have never figured out what this alternative ending is. And I want to know, BADLY. I have tried a lot of things, but can't figure it out. So, I just want to know.


    In WHAT point(s) of the story (try to keep it as spoiler free as possible) must I make a decision that affects the outcome of the ending? Don't tell me DIRECTLY how, just WHERE.

    The alternative ending didnt make it into the final release.


    I had the idea to create a 2nd ending which would link to a different game project but that was canceled.
    After that it made more sense to focus on just one ending.
