It is funny: Chaos wants to play their pirate role, but they refuse others to play their

role. He acted like this when BG countered his decleration of the Sigma 19 warzone, and now

when DC is hired by BG.
Sorry Jib, but you are acting a bit childish, as some of your own

clanmembers are beginning to realize.

If you don't give others a chance to play

their role in the RP, then stop enforcing your role.

Pirate alliances are like mob alliances or criminal

Afaik, pirates do as they please, they live the day. They don't waste time,

they immediatly consume what they plunder because they know, their next trip may be their

last.
They have pride, they have strength and they will punish mutiny.

The biggest clan

on the server hires the second largest clan on the server to help them fight the third

largest...

Here's what happening here: Earlier this week dragon pulled out of CSF in

anticipation of fighting us... Soon after the war zone in Sig 19 was declared,

actually.

Earlier today some DC asked all of u fighting in system chat if we wanted

to hire them. Well eventually bg clan did hire one or two of them to help in their

battles.

Later, 6 DC show up saying they were hired by bg for 4 days, the whole clan,

the whole weekend and until Monday, to fight Chaos.

At that point, i realized what

the plan was and that we in Chaos, who have been good allies and m8's of DC, were betrayed

in a deliberate plan to see us crushed.

Because if they really are neutral mercs,

they would not try to change the balance of power so completely, not make the odds so high

in bg's favor.. not make it a all-verses Chaos war.

Well. Mercs have a right to make

contracts. they should also expect ppl not to like it if they attk them, that is also Role

Play. They cant expect us to sit back and let them betray our trust, our friendship, and

change the balance of power so completley. So they should not be surprised that now they

have a war they cant win on their hands.

They should have used the earlier model, a

few ppl helping BG (who WERE NOT OUTNUMBERED) now and then, not a mob of them against us

long-term.... I suggested that, publicly, as a compromise. They refused. It then became

clear to me what was going on, and what was needed.

That refusal to compromise was a

big mistake... but what it really did was show their hand and expose their true

motives.

We are not war mongers, for 5 months we have not had a war, we did not

declare the last one if ppl will remember..... we did not have a server-wide war with bg we

localized it to maximize the RP aspects, and minimize any possible damage to the

server.

I wonder what others would do in this situation....? I do know that we in

Chaos have the will and the balls to do whats needed.

i was hoping we where on the good track to RPG but we have some confusions here !

In

RPG you cannot declare war at mercenaries, they are a neutral entity that only works

temporairly with the highest bidder !

At all times mercenaries were part of a army,

that army who has hired them. Once hired, mercenaries carry they orders until the bitter

end, no matter the casualties.
They make it a point of honnor to respect the contract

!

As here, in this case, role playing speaking, DC do his job wel, respecting the

given contract. I can understand that Chaos is disapointing about loosing an allied but

since they are mercenaries you cannot blame then and certainly not declare war, it's in

contradiction with their status of independant mercenaries.

What you can do as

pirates it to make this mercenaries a hell of a live, by harrassing them, attack them by

surprise, drain their ressources down, make incursions in their homeworld, all hit and run

tacktics that irritates or hurts badly the adversary !

Apply the same tactics against

the BG's, hit them where they are the least suspected. So you dont need a large force but

several attacking groups while BG's will need a large number of men to secure Sirius.

Beware for the NOX, it seems to me that this boys are looking for troubles and not

working to the making of a RPG. From what i read, they are only going for war and you know

this will not solve the problem!!!

1. BG is the

Come on guys, look. THe DC were once, many many times ago an ally of the Choas. THen,

another rouge clan appears on the server, claims to be csf and attacks BG and attempts to

join Chaos. The BG Chaos anger rises and the clan leaves, letting BG and Chaos Duke it out.

Right as we (chaos) are about to go to war with the BG, the DC, who we thought we could

count on, conviently turn merc and bam, the entire clan is on a job to slaughter any chaos

on sight.

If going from csf to merc right before a major conflict only to work with

our enemy, there is definately some backstabbing going on.

Unless the DC has all been

just a clan secretly allied with BG to report on Chaos since the last clan war, which seems

feasiable if you think about it.

Now that I look at it, it seems as if there has been

an ongoing plot to eliminate Chaos for some time.

BG has about 20 members now

(+/- 1-3 recruits, some come and go the last days very quickly). DC. Hmm, dont know exactly,

think they have about 12.

So 32 fighters against chaos. how many chaos are active

now? i guess 10. so 32 vs 10. yup, realy looks like this whole thing is planned to destroy

chaos.

BUT, and i can tell you for sure, i never lie, there was never a plan to

destroy chaos. this whole thing arise from the circumstances today. i hired 1 DC this

yesterday afternoon, because i was outnumbered. later some DCs watched the fights in sig19

and offered BOTH sides to hire them. well, chaos was too stingy and so BG took the chance.

there where also less bg fighters there atm and we also had other things to do. so we hired

the whole DC clan. why not? they are mercs, they are here to hire. everybody can hire them.

and when a freelancer have enough money and a problem with someone or with a clan - he can

hire them and DC only do what they have to do - their job.

so all please calm down.

ok, as a chaos right now its not so funny because they are outnumbered atm, but only till

sunday. but every honorful fighter will stand his ground and fight till his death. i cant

understand why RP dont work on this server. everytime people want a war. war is not

funny.

i dont think that chaos want to destroy OP and the server. chaos is a

serverclan, they love to play CF so why should they destroy it?

but there are several

other guys who influences some other brave fighters and use them as marionettes. dont let

this happen. think twice what and whom u trust.

THx for the support, grinder. Im not trying to really take a side,

but am a part of chaos and must defend the clan once i get FL working again. I havent been

around for a while, and after looking at the situation, its just one conclusion i came

to.

Still, with the way things worked, it really looks like the DC stabbed Chaos in

the back with a longsword.

I think that that is a reasonable reason for a big fight

and that BG should just stay out of the conflict between DC and Chaos, as we need no more

bad feelings between Chaos and BG.

As for who you trust, thats up to you.

fulfill what i feel is in the best interests of the freelance players. I feel sorry, Wavey

BG may be superior, but n0x and Chaos have

banded for the sake of ex-CrossFire players and for our own sake to try and prove that

R_39 and n0x suffer in the same issues, that is now, why i like to keep bringing

R_39 back into this. They threatened superiority, so they get ****ted on... thats just not

They were good pilots, and the server

is void without them now

but it allows BG to remain tall without the chance of an

inferior on the server.

i think ill stop at that, my points mean nothing to BG, and

will only be fought and so i really direct this as an informative to Chaos, n0x (now a wing

of Chaos) and any others that wish to join in this endeavor, as well as any R_39ers that may

still read our forums even though they are long gone, as i would hope they all see my

respect for them and gratitude for training me and part of my clan/wing n0x.

just read it... i dont "want" war, but actively support it to prove a point, i think that BG

I have to say,

being a neutral party in all this, that this is getting way out of hand.

Here is what

I can get from all this(being the new guy and all):

BG=Military/Police(Enforcer of

Laws)
DC=Mercenaries(Warriors to the Highest Bidder)
Chaos=Pirates(Thieves)

Now

it seems simple enough to me that DC would take the contract from BG if it was higher than

any other persons/Clans offer. Being a Mercenary means you are fighting for the money, not

for some cause or political agenda. It should not matter to a Mercenary who or why they are

fighting, but only that they get paid and paid well for their work.

Military forces

are in the position of enforcing law and keeping the peace, but for also making war if the

policies of another faction directly effects their political masters in a non-favorable

way.

Pirates take what they want, when they want, and from who ever they want. They

have no allies, not even other Pirates as they too are competing for the same

booty.

So from an RP stand point everything seems in order and the declaration of war

from Chaos to anyone seems kind of dumb, since in reality they should be at war with

everybody all the time.

Geez, it amazing how many ppl want to

tell us what we should "be" and exactly what our role is... Sry but our role is what WE make

it, not some1 else's ideal of what a "pirate" should be. Maybe if it made ppl feel better

(and not call us "thieves" lol) we should change our decription to _____ (... just a blank,

u fill it in urself). But that would make some ppl uncomfortable, cause they couldnt

pidgeon-hole us or judge us for not meeting their expectations.

Listen: We dont

expect all of u to agree with what we do, and truth is we dont care if u do. Because we cant

trust u to have our interests at heart, only we have that. And we will do what we need to do

to survive.
