Some little problems

Hey there,

first of all, great modification of the game! I recently installed the mod and Im very happy to see, the great effort you took into it, its a lot of fun playing it. But I have 2 little problems, I was not able to solve.

1. The Intro video is not displayed, I just have a black screen, I can press ESC and skip it, after that everything works fine.
2. In the HUD my current speed is not displayed

I tried it with different shaders but none of it solved the problem.

My settings are:

Windows 8.1
AMD FX 6300
AMD 7870

I installed everything with administrator settings

Wish you could help me.

for problem no. 2, try this:
Install Crossfire Font manually, you can find it in Freelancer's installation folder:
Microsoft Games\Freelancer\DATA\FONTS\Files\Crossfire_2.tff

Hi, this your issues were here mentioned already ... source of evil for you is your PC UAC (user account control) which prevent proper installer function.

For HUD/speed issue: do not use new one HUD, go for some from HUD option below when activate mod.
Black intro : desktop composition (called also aero) need to be switched off. Normally is set off by installer.

You may try little dig (use search) around ... was answered more times. How looks your in-game font? .. Looks good or is somehow "ugly"?

Hey, Taruper, what did you do to solve your issue for number 1? The web is telling me that windows 8.1 doesn't have aero, is that opsys you're using?
