The Mustang Lineup is here!

The Mustang is here! Consolidated Outland has created a new kind of starter ship that drops the Aurora's jack-of-all-trades nature in exchange for additional speed and maneuverability. Four versions of the Mustang are available today, all of which are flyable in Arena Commander 1.0! Additionally, we've put together a Mustang commercial and an all-new brochure with details about the ship lineup.

The Mustang aims to do things differently! While most starter ships aim to let pilots do a little of everything, the Mustang dedicates more of itself to speed and maneuverability. None the less, the Mustang isn’t all thrusters and engines: Consolidated Outland has designed Mustang variants to prove that it’s still up for a host of tasks!

Mustang Alpha (Starter)

Inspired by Consolidated Outland CEO Silas Koerner’s cutting edge vision, the Mustang Alpha is a sleek, stylish spacecraft that uses ultralight alloys to push power ratios to the limits, albeit sometimes unsafely. And now, with the optional Cargo Carrier, you can have the Alpha’s advantages without sacrificing carrying capacity.

Mustang Beta (Light Exploration)

The Mustang Beta, with its unprecedented range, is made for long duration flights. The factory standard Tarsus Leaper Jump Engine enables the Beta to travel to the galaxy’s farthest systems with ease, while the ship’s unique Com4T living quarters will make the journey feel like you never left home.

Mustang Delta (Fighter)

While it may not be able to go toe to toe with some of the military specific ships, by reinforcing the Mustang’s already strong hull construction with Consolidated Outland’s own line of Cavalry Class Mass Reduction Armor, the Delta has a reduced cross-sectional signature that evens the playing field.

Remember: we are offering these pledge ships to help fund Star Citizen’s development. All of these ships will be available for in-game credits in the final universe, and they are not required to start the game. The goal is to make additional ships available that give players a different experience rather than a particular advantage when the persistent universe launches.
