Crossfire 1.51

    Crossfire 1.51 will be released in


    1-2weeks


    changes:
    Singleplayer will b fixed
    minor bugfixes on


    infocards
    Battleships will be available (most likely)
    Deathvalley Datadisk only


    lootable one time per char but it will give 10mio$
    DV datadisk will only be sold on


    planet crossfire
    minor bugfix with the ragnarok gunship (hardpoint for the licences will


    be fixed)
    Nephele base will be fixed
    different console errors will b fixed (in the end


    there will be no error output anymore which should reduce lag)
    maybe all surfiles of the


    new ships will be recreated (dunno yet - need to test it first)


    i decided to include


    a hardcoded mod into crossfire:
    it will be possible to invite more than 8 players to one


    group (BG will be damn glad to hear this)
    the already existing 2.000.000.000$ are


    possible to get
    different engines and be bought at stations (but most likely this feature


    wont be part of crossfire 1.51)
    its possible that engines have different cruise speeds


    (dunno if i will integrate it - most likely only for the ragnarok and the


    battleships)
    the F1 key will b disabled in space (no char switching anymore) -> ppl will


    have to fight and have no chance to run away



    i decided to keep the existing


    commodity bug in CF coz of it teamplay gets more important and there will be more fights


    between pirates and police

    i like the f1 block but i have to agree with


    some other people it is kind of a bad idea coz what if you are trading or doing a mission


    and someone enters your clan system what do you do to get in there and defend your home

    chars already are very good high-leveled strategically placed so i don't see why we can't


    have a 6th char if our other 5 are really good and not wastes of space.

    op can you repair the BG logo in Custo, the logo doesnt


    fit in the border


    will the scanners be fixxed so that you can see players which are


    not in the group in the scanner distance?
