Availability on the Forum Chat

I do wish that Friends? would take the time to show themselves as unavailable when they show up on Chat at the bottom of the Forum page.
I realise that it is only Friends that show, but if they don't want to take time to chat perhaps they would un friend me, I wouldn't mind, honestly.

most dont use the chat and you can unfriend them if you wish to .Personally im not gonna select chat and say im unavailable when I read forums

apreciate your reply, but i don't want to un friend them.
perhaps, for an elderly guy i am naive, but i set the same standards and principles for myself on line as i do in real life.
that is my error but i am not going to change.

I usually very fast browse forum, check news and move. Had happen more times I saw message in chat late. Also if is portal open and I'm in space I simply see messages usually when is person who asked me off-line.

Im an Old coddger to I just cant even find the chat thingamagiggy. I usally PM whoever I want to talk to. They almost always (99.9%) get back to me . Or sometimes I just pop into space to see whos there. Im not sure if anyone I know really even uses it .

u guys, most of you have been members a lot longer than me, and not noticed Chat at the bottom of the Forum page.
it is a feature, and obviously underused. it is an ideal medium to chat without having to go on-line into the game.
it should be used more, IMHO.
but hey ho, who am I to dictate members choices. though if this post creates a topic of conversation, that is a good thing. ?????

How do you not see it?!

Pops up on my screen anytime I am logged into the site. Of course I agree with SA_Forlon, I sweep through the forums pretty quick and might not see someone trying to chat w/me.

And yeah, I'm and old fart as well.
